This Ginza bar has a slightly different atmosphere than others I've been to. That's part of what makes it so good. I recommend it. I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food.
A bar recommended by Bar Hermes as a quintessential Ginza bar. I was deeply moved by the bartender's incredibly elegant movements. I couldn't help but point out the beauty to a foreign customer who seemed oblivious to it, feeling like a bit of a tourist myself.
It's been ages since I've been to a bar in Ginza. I haven't been hopping from bar to bar for a second or third round like I used to. There are many bars in the area, but I decided to come here, a place I visited a few times a few years ago. It's still authentic and has a great atmosphere. Maybe it's because of the pandemic, but there weren't many customers. What was my first drink? Something with grapefruit and orange (laughs). My second was a gimlet. My third was a Steinheger on the rocks (no picture). It's a great place!
If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy cocktails, this is the place. The owner bartender, Mr. Mishiishi, greets you with a warm smile, making you feel at home in this Ginza bar. Don't worry if you're not familiar with the place, you can ask for recommendations from the moment you order your first drink.
The carefully crafted cocktails, enjoyed in a cozy atmosphere, melt away the day's fatigue. It's a wonderful bar where you can enjoy a delightful time while having a leisurely conversation with Mitsuishi-san.
