This Chinese restaurant is located in Terminal 2. It's larger than the surrounding ramen shops and McDonald's, so you can usually get in without waiting too long. The food isn't mind-blowingly delicious, but it's good enough to satisfy your cravings after returning home or to calm your nerves before departing. Ordering on the tablet is convenient.
A Chinese restaurant located in Terminal 2 of Narita Airport. Xie Peng Dian is a well-known restaurant with several locations in Tokyo. I visited before my overseas business flight. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and the sweet and sour rice set. The flavors were classic and delicious. It was relatively empty since it was late.
Lunch on the second day of the New Year. I was in the mood for Chinese food, but the local restaurants were still closed. Thinking that the airport would be open, I decided to visit this place. We ordered Dan Dan noodles and a five-flavor rice set, a five-flavor fried noodle Tianjin set, and a set with shrimp with chili sauce and crispy chicken. Other restaurants were crowded, but this one was empty, so the food came out quickly. The taste was okay, but it satisfied my craving for Chinese food, so it was good in that sense. However, the Dan Dan noodles were a bit underwhelming.
I ordered the Spicy and Sour Soup Noodles and a set menu! The Spicy and Sour Soup Noodles were spicy and pretty good, but I wish they had a bit more sourness!
## Xie Peng Dian, Narita Airport Branch I visited this restaurant for lunch during a business trip to Australia, my first overseas trip since before the pandemic. I was looking for a place to eat that wasn't a chain restaurant, but I'm not sure if this one is a chain or not. Looking at my own reviews, I've been eating a lot of Chinese food lately (laughs). This time, I ordered a set of fried noodles with mixed vegetables and sweet and sour shrimp. I had the impression that airport food is quite expensive, but since it was before the departure procedures, it was surprisingly affordable. There are few restaurants after the departure immigration and they are expensive, so it was good to eat here. The meal was like a sweet and sour shrimp set with a crispy noodle, and it was quite filling. The sweet and sour shrimp was a bit spicy, but it was just right when eaten with rice. The spacious seating and atmosphere allow you to relax, making it a great place to spend time. I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking to kill some time. I will definitely visit again when I use Narita Airport. Thank you for the meal. ## Xie Peng Dian, Narita Airport Branch Address: 1 Furugo, Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, New Tokyo International Airport, Terminal 2, 4F Business Hours: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM Open on Sundays Closed Days: None
