There weren't many set menus available for dinner, so I ended up ordering a la carte. The few set menus they had for dinner were quite extravagant. They seemed geared towards foreign tourists. If you're looking for a non-extravagant Japanese meal, I think lunch would be the best time to come! (^^)

In May 2024, I had dinner on the 4th floor of Terminal 3 (Edo Koji, the furthest back on the right side of the escalator). A 24-hour Japanese restaurant is a lifesaver. After 4 PM, there's a cover charge for alcohol orders. From 10 PM to 5 AM, there's a 10% late-night surcharge (service charge). Orders are placed via touch panel. The cover charge was 400 yen. I had a draft beer (Suntory) for 950 yen, a three-piece sashimi platter (bonito, tuna, salmon) for 1,280 yen, and a chicken nanban set for 1,580 yen. It's airport pricing, but it's convenient and delicious 👍

I recently visited Sugikono at Haneda Airport's International Terminal. It's open 24 hours, so I went around 1 AM. The staff seemed tired, and when I entered, they told me to wait outside in a rather firm tone. After waiting a bit, I was allowed in and seated. There are enough seats, so it seems fine for families with children. The seating in the back, which is like a tatami room, offers a nice view of the 3rd floor. I ordered a seafood chazuke, and while the taste was decent, they didn't explain how to eat it, so it might be a bit intimidating for first-timers or those trying it for the first time.

The chicken nanban set meal was delicious. It came with chawanmushi and side dishes, which was great. The miso soup was also tasty. I thought the prices at the airport were pretty high, even compared to other restaurants, but for 1,500 yen, this was a satisfying meal. It was great to have some delicious Japanese food before my long trip to Europe! No regrets.

This is a 24-hour Japanese restaurant located in Terminal 3 of Haneda Airport!! I wanted to have Japanese food before my overseas trip, so I went in! I ordered the tonkatsu set (with extra rice) 😊 The crispy fried tonkatsu was very juicy and went well with the rice! The small side dishes were also refreshing and delicious. I will definitely come back here again when I'm at Terminal 3!!
