I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon! I heard that this place serves delicious and affordable lunches, so there's usually a line. But I went at 11:00 am when they opened and was able to get in right away. The daily lunch special is supposed to be cheap and good 😋, but I was in the mood for steak rather than pork cutlet, so I ordered the Ooyama Steak Set for ¥1,040. It comes with a drink bar, so I waited with a soft drink and soon got a cup of pork miso soup and rice. The steak arrived shortly after. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but the soy sauce-based steak sauce was a perfect match for the meat and it was delicious! 🤗 The Thursday Stamina Yakiniku (grilled meat) for the daily lunch special sounds really good, so I'd like to come back on a Thursday next time! 🥳 I was full and paid, and when I left, there was a line! 😅💦

The "Oyama Steak" (150g) was ¥860, the "Brand Pork Miso Glaze" was ¥825, and the rice set was ¥300. All that for ¥2035. It's definitely a good deal. The steak had just the right amount of fat, the meat was delicious, and the onion sauce was also great. The miso-glazed pork seemed to be made with high-quality pork, and the combination of the miso and the pork fat was incredibly delicious. It was my first visit, and I ordered a large rice, but it was truly a large portion, probably around 500g. I went home completely full. I arrived around 7pm on a Friday, and there was just one seat left at the counter. I waited about 3 minutes and was seated right away. The food came out incredibly fast (though the rice set didn't come out until I asked for it). I'll definitely be coming back.

September 17th, Lunch There's a takeout corner specializing in fried food right at the entrance, and I was momentarily tempted by the fried goodies. The historic interior is a bit dim and can't be called beautiful. I took a seat at the counter. The seats are spaced apart, allowing for a comfortable experience, and there's a storage space for bags under the stool. There's a barcode in front of each seat for ordering, but I took my time looking over the menu and placed my order with a staff member. I ordered the "Mix Grill Set" for ¥1,000, which includes a mix of hamburger, chicken, and shrimp. It also comes with a green salad and pork miso soup. The piping hot dish arrived on a sizzling plate, but there was a lot of oil splatter, leaving the counter greasy. I used paper napkins to protect my clothes. The meal also includes a drink bar with a wide variety of beverages. The daily lunch special is only ¥600, a steal, and it comes with a drink bar. I'd like to try the daily special next time, but you have to get there early or it sells out.

I always thought the standing bar was crowded and confusing, but there's an entrance in the back. I had the steak bowl. It's pure bliss when you eat it with butter. It's mobile order, but I was able to connect and order without any stress. 😊

It felt like a pub run by a butcher, so smoking was allowed inside, and people were drinking freely. There were various dishes like steak and hamburgers, but there was also a wide selection of pub-style pizzas and salads. The salads and pizzas were larger than expected, and everything was delicious. Orders were placed using a QR code on your phone, but the signal was weak inside, and the restaurant's Wi-Fi was also weak, so it took a while to order.
