Located near the Inari-guchi entrance of JR Ueno Station, inside the station (past the ticket gates). I went there because I wanted to eat omurice. Since it was a weekday and not during lunch time, I was seated immediately. I ordered the omurice with fried shrimp, and the food arrived quickly, in about 4 minutes. The omurice was the type where the egg is wrapped around the rice. The ketchup rice, flavored with butter, contained ham and onions, and it was delicious. The shrimp were thick and satisfying. You could choose from three sauces for the omurice: demi-glace, ketchup, or tomato sauce.

Ueno Station, enter through the Park Exit and go straight, then turn left. Taimeiken, a Western-style restaurant located inside the station. The line is always worth the wait. The service is excellent. It's a famous restaurant that truly lives up to its reputation. The chicken rice is perfectly seasoned, not at all cloying, and enveloped in fluffy eggs. Pure bliss in every bite. The oyster cutlets I ordered as a side dish were also crispy and satisfying. Visited in February 2024.

This is a branch of the famous Nihonbashi Timeiken located within the station. As expected of a renowned establishment, the popularity and deliciousness are truly remarkable ☺️. The taste and service are reliable. I went during lunchtime, so there was a line in front of the store. However, being located within the station, customer turnover is incredibly fast. Even with a line, you'll be served quickly. The food is also served very quickly and reliably 👌. I had the classic omelet rice with tomato sauce and a side order of ham cutlet ✨. Everything was undeniably delicious ☺️. It took me a while to find the store (lol). It's tricky navigating the different levels within the station 🤣.

It was located on the 3rd floor of Ueno Station, near the Shinobazu Exit. I walked quite a bit to get there! ~ I had the omelet and hamburger set. There were 4 different sauces for the omelet, but since the hamburger was served with demi-glace sauce, I opted for the classic ketchup. The omelet was like a classic Western-style dish 💕 The butter was sweet and delicious ✨ The eggs were fluffy and soft. I enjoyed the demi-glace hamburger as well, savoring the deliciousness. I definitely want to go back! Thank you for the meal!

You have to go through the ticket gate to get to the restaurant, so be careful. I got lost for a while (-_-;) After going up the stairs, the path splits into the ticket gate and another route. Go through the ticket gate. Then you should be able to find it. I ordered the cheese omelet. You can choose between demi-glace and ketchup sauce. They also refill your water, so it's a very service-oriented restaurant. The price might be a bit high, but it's about average for a Western-style restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
