A stylish Japanese restaurant tucked away in the back alleys of Nihonbashi. I visited for dinner. The tables are separated by curtains, making it perfect for groups of around four people. It was quite crowded even on a Thursday night, so I recommend making a reservation. I thought it was a tonkatsu restaurant from the photos, but it was actually a delicious Japanese restaurant. I ordered a variety of dishes, including the famous Gout Egg, sashimi platter, rare-cooked mackerel cutlet, and more. Everything was delicious. Personally, I loved the Gout Egg and the rare-cooked mackerel cutlet. The lemon sour was also very good, with a strong lemon flavor. They have a good selection of shochu and sake. The restaurant is very clean and stylish. They accept credit cards.

Idate, a pork specialty restaurant located just a short distance from Nihonbashi. When I wanted to have dinner with colleagues and needed a slightly more refined setting, I chose this place. It's conveniently located just a stone's throw from Nihonbashi Station and Takashimaya, making it easily accessible. The restaurant has two floors, and we were seated in a semi-private room on the second floor. As the name suggests, pork dishes are their specialty, but the menu also features a variety of other tempting options. Upon entering, I thought it might be a bit pricey, but the prices were actually quite reasonable. They have a wide selection of drinks, and each dish is generously portioned, so I was completely stuffed by the end of the meal. The interior is very clean and stylish, making it a great choice for company gatherings or when you're looking for a more upscale dining experience.
