I finally got to visit Hiyama, the sukiyaki restaurant I'd been wanting to try. From the entrance where you leave your shoes, the atmosphere is already amazing ✨. The private rooms are like those in a traditional inn, allowing for a relaxing experience. The sukiyaki was absolutely delicious 😊. The meat, with just the right amount of marbling, was carefully grilled and then enjoyed with egg, creating a sweet and melt-in-your-mouth experience ❤️. The set comes with three large pieces of meat, which was a satisfying and just the right amount. There are four different courses, each with varying levels of marbling, so we ordered two different ones and shared them ♡. They have a wide selection of large bottles of beer ✨, which we enjoyed immensely.

For sukiyaki, it has to be the long-established Hiyama! They cook it right in front of you, so you can enjoy it fresh and hot 😋 The taste and hospitality are both top-notch 😊

While strolling from Nihonbashi to Ningyocho, I stumbled upon a historic Japanese-style sukiyaki restaurant. Ningyocho is known for its famous sukiyaki restaurant, 'Imahan,' but I was drawn to the charming old house of this place and immediately went inside. However, I was told that all rooms were private and reservations were required. I quickly called from outside the restaurant and was lucky enough to secure a reservation. Upon entering, I noticed that many people seemed to be using the restaurant for special occasions. I overheard conversations about people celebrating graduations and memorial services. Despite being alone, I was given a spacious private room and the chef cooked just for me, making it a truly luxurious experience. The menu offered a variety of dishes, but sukiyaki was clearly the star. They had Matsu, Take, and Ume courses, and I chose the Take course for 11,800 yen. Personally, I expected it to be half that price, but I was surprised by the typical Tokyo prices. Even the Take course was delicious. They also provided a beaten egg for each slice of meat, which was amazing when mixed with the sukiyaki sauce and eaten as a kind of egg-and-rice dish. The menu also featured an 'oil-grilled' option, which I was told was the best way to enjoy the flavor of the meat. I definitely want to try that next time. Although it was a bit over budget, it was a truly luxurious experience for a special occasion and I was very satisfied.

Ah, that was so much fun! (*´▽`*) It's always enjoyable and delicious to have someone prepare food right in front of you. ( ゚д゚)ンマッ! Since it was lunch, there were no appetizers, just sukiyaki and dessert. They brought two drink menus, but one was a wine list... I ended up going with a large bottle of Akashi beer and ginger ale. (^_^;) I had a great time learning about different things from the waitress. (ノ*>∀<)ノ

We enjoyed the sukiyaki prepared tableside by the staff, ensuring the meat was cooked to perfection. The restaurant's interior, with its Taisho-era architecture, has a unique atmosphere. The private rooms are traditional Japanese-style, but with tables, making them comfortable.
