Rice shortages have been a hot topic lately, haven't they? The price of rice has skyrocketed. For those who want to enjoy delicious rice to their heart's content even in these times, I highly recommend Ta-sui in Ningyocho. It's an izakaya (Japanese pub) that's all about rice. For lunch, you can enjoy Minamiuonuma-grown Koshihikari rice with their homemade saikyo-yaki (marinated fish), dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet), and a variety of rice accompaniments. And get this, it's all-you-can-eat! I'm speechless. There were also rice accompaniments, and I ended up getting seconds. My stomach was completely full! It was a very satisfying lunch. ▽--------------------------▽ ○Restaurant Name: Ningyocho Ta-sui ○Tabelog Rating: 3.56 (as of September 25, 2024) ○3-minute walk from Ningyocho Station ○Budget: ¥2,000 per person ○Address: 2F, HS Building, 1-7-6 Nihonbashi Ningyocho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo ○Business Hours: [Mon-Fri] 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM / 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM [Sat] 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM / 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM ※Closed: Sundays and Public Holidays ※Credit cards and PayPay accepted △--------------------------△ 【Reservation Availability】 Possible 【Recommended Usage Scenarios】 Coworkers, friends, solo, couples 【Crowdedness】 Visited on Thursday at 12:50 PM, 70% full. Located in Ningyocho, "Ningyocho Tazui" is a sake bar specializing in Japanese sake. I visited during a weekday lunch. The cozy establishment is situated on the second floor of an old mixed-use building. I was seated at the counter. The Gin-shari set meal offers a choice of main dishes, with prices varying accordingly. I opted for the Saikyo-yaki (marinated salmon) for 1300 yen. The rice is Koshihikari from Tokamachi, Minamiuonuma, known for its quality. The dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet) is freshly prepared upon order. Initially, a tray with rice, miso soup, and side dishes is served. Subsequently, the dashimaki tamago and the main dish are brought out. The dashimaki tamago, with its light and fluffy texture, is quite good. The Saikyo-yaki is also fragrant and flavorful. The rice is delicious, prompting me to order a second serving. I thoroughly enjoyed this highly satisfying lunch. The quality of the food makes me eager to visit for dinner as well.

I found this place! So happy! ♡ The food was incredibly delicious, and best of all, for ¥1,200, you get unlimited rice refills, a fluffy dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet), rice condiments, and a comforting miso soup. The atmosphere is also lovely. I stumbled upon a gem! ♡ I'd love to come back for dinner sometime. Thank you for the delicious meal! ♡

📍 Ningyocho Tazui / Ningyocho Station ✓ Recommended Points ・ Exquisite, fluffy dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet) made to order ・ Minamiuonuma Tokimachi koshihikari rice that can be refilled 🍚 ・ Tabelog rating of 3.55 (as of posting) ✓ Ordered Menu ・ Daily Special Set ¥1,200 "Ningyocho Tazui" in Nihonbashi Ningyocho 🥢 I visited on a weekday afternoon and was able to walk right in. The fluffy, jiggly dashimaki tamago was delicious...🥹 The daily special sawa (Spanish mackerel) simmered with grated radish was also absolutely exquisite. The shiny, chewy rice was also incredibly delicious! Once again, I had a very satisfying lunch🫶 I'd like to go back at night sometime...🍶 This is a recommended lunch spot for salarymen and office workers in Ningyocho 🥰 Thank you for the meal!

A sake bar that gets you excited with its complimentary appetizers. They serve seasonal snacks on small plates, a real treat for sake lovers. However, the price is ¥2,000. The delicious food is reasonably priced considering the quality, so overall I think the value for money is quite good! I ordered a few dishes and then some sake that caught my eye, and ended up spending over ¥8,000 per person. But considering the location in Ningyocho and the high-quality ingredients used in the dishes, I think it's a great place to splurge on a special occasion.
