I visited this place as my second stop on a weekday night. It's great that they're open after 10 PM. Even when I went around 11 PM, the first floor was almost full and lively. The second floor is for smokers, but it was empty so I went up there. The second floor has more space and is more relaxing. There are counter seats, tables, and even a tatami room. I only had the otoshi (appetizer) and a potato shochu, but they had a wide variety of shochu so I'd like to come back again. The waitresses were busy but they were still very polite and attentive.

My friend and I visited this place on a weekday evening. It's a favorite spot for my friend, who loves sake. This restaurant serves cuisine from Kagoshima, and they had a lot of unique dishes on the menu! Everything was delicious, but I especially loved the corn tempura. It was the perfect pairing for sake. We actually ordered a lot more, but we got so caught up in conversation that we forgot to take pictures. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose yourself in the food, drinks, and good company! Thank you for a great time!

I've been going here quite often and it's really good! It's right in the heart of Ningyocho Station. It opened in 2009 and used to only be on the second floor, but they expanded to the first floor when "Ore no French" left. The first floor is always packed whenever I look! I only go to the second floor because my friend smokes, but it might be a good spot for smokers? It's an izakaya that serves delicious food and shochu, focusing on Kagoshima cuisine. The sashimi is always delicious! They say they carefully select it every day at the market. The oyster fry, menchi katsu, chicken nanban, and other hearty dishes are also fantastic. The seasonal vegetable dishes, like the broad beans, are also very satisfying. The video is of stir-fried scallions, which were incredibly delicious! And the pickled cucumbers with fuki miso are a real booze thief. They have a wide selection of over 20 different shochu, which is fitting for a shochu establishment. I highly recommend their Flamingo Orange, which is hard to find elsewhere. The casual conversations with the staff are also enjoyable. It's a wonderful place to relax after work.

I dined at this restaurant with a friend who lives in Tokyo. Of course, I don't know Tokyo well, so I relied on my friend's recommendations. The highlight is definitely the availability of Sato's Kuro, my favorite shochu made from sweet potatoes. My friend knew I love shochu and chose this place for me. Every dish that came out was delicious. The restaurant isn't very large, but the chef keeps a watchful eye on everything and provides friendly service. The sashimi, grilled dishes, and simmered dishes were all excellent. It's a perfect spot for a gathering with close friends or colleagues. There are no private rooms, so it can get a bit noisy, but the food and drinks are so good that I think everyone will enjoy it. We were there for a long time, and I noticed that groups of customers kept coming in even after 10 pm. It seemed like there were three rounds of customers. We sat at a table on the first floor. Smoking is allowed, but only for IQOS. No one was smoking regular cigarettes, thankfully. Just a heads-up on that.

I went with a senior colleague from work. It was Friday, so it was crowded, but I felt the turnover rate was relatively fast. There were a lot of hearty dishes like shabu-shabu and menchi-katsu, and they were all delicious. The alcohol felt a bit watered down. It gives the impression of a place where you go for a hearty meal rather than drinks. There were a few drawbacks, like the bridge being different lengths and dirty, but the taste of the food made up for it. The braised pork was also served in a stone pot, which made it look good. Overall, if you're looking for a delicious meal, I recommend it. You'll be able to eat until you're full.
