We went to [Restaurant Name] for lunch to celebrate a friend's marriage! The wedding is next year, but this was a celebration of their marriage registration. My friend, who had said she didn't want to get married after being pursued relentlessly by a man 10 years younger, finally tied the knot! I'm so happy for her! (≧∇≦)♡ The restaurant was almost fully booked for lunch, which was great! I've been here a few times, and it's always packed, a popular spot! I once asked what 'Baeja' meant, but it turns out it's just another way of saying 'Paella'. We ordered the Paella course and some à la carte dishes. Everything was delicious, starting with the appetizers, but the paella was truly amazing! The sweetness of the seafood, the fluffy rice, and the crispy surface - the different textures were delightful! The squid ink paella was also rich and flavorful! (〃ω〃) It's no wonder they've won international awards! Neither of us drinks, so we had soft drinks today, but we were both very satisfied!(*´꒳`*) Thank you for the delicious meal!
The food was absolutely delicious. I was very satisfied with every dish. The paella was great, and the famous spring rolls? were also delicious. The shrimp, avocado, and crab were a perfect match 🙂↕️✨ The dessert was unique and very tasty. 🍰 Thank you.
Business trip to Ginza for lunch. I went there because I could choose two dishes. I chose paella and fish stew with tomatoes, but the paella seemed to have been made quite a while ago. The tomato stew was piping hot and delicious. The bread was hard, but it was delicious when dipped in the tomato stew. Coffee was also included at the end, so for 1,400 yen in this location, it's probably cheap. It was always full with customers coming in one after another. Thank you for a relaxing lunch time. It was a delicious meal!
I visited for lunch. I was craving paella and this was my third visit, but I thought I had gone to the wrong place because the taste had changed so much. Everything was salty. It wasn't just strong flavor, it was truly salty. There was no taste of broth at all. It was very disappointing. I won't be going back.
I knew about this place, but this was my first visit. I often saw this eye-catching sign from the street when I was walking around Ginza, but this was my first time visiting. When you go downstairs, the interior is long and narrow like a 'eel's bed' (a Japanese idiom for a narrow space). It seems like it can fit quite a few people. I had made a reservation for the ¥4,000 all-inclusive course. There were some options to choose from, so the foreign service staff explained the menu while looking at their phone as a cheat sheet. That was a bit innovative. "Spanish ham and Manchego cheese (Spanish sheep's milk cheese) salad"... This salad was made with ham, cheese, tomato, onion, frilled lettuce, etc. The cheese was plentiful and really brought out the flavor. "Today's omelet"... It had small shrimp and onion inside, and it was seasoned with salt, so it was really delicious. For me, it went well with beer. It's good for a drinking snack. "Mushroom Ajillo"... It was brought out in a clay pot, bubbling away. The garlic, chili pepper, and ham broth were really flavorful, and it was quite delicious. The following came out: "Bread"... A baguette called "Champignon" (mushroom). The thin, umbrella-shaped part on top was hard and crunchy, and it was somehow delicious. However, the bread itself was cold, so I think it would have been even better if it had been warmed up a bit. "Today's meat or fish dish" My partner had fish, and I had "veal stew in red wine"... It was a bit different from the typical French beef cheek stew in red wine, and it was almost like beef stew. The flavor was rich and not bad, but it wasn't anything special. It was just normally delicious. The final carbohydrate was "Seafood Paella"... It had shrimp, mussels, clams, and scallops, and the seasoning was quite delicious. The service staff scraped off the crispy bits that stuck to the bottom of the pot. That was also delicious. It's always satisfying to finish with delicious paella. For dessert, there were: ① (Won 2nd place in an international competition) Chestnut mousse ② Basque-style cheese tart ③ Caramel pudding ④ Pumpkin pudding ⑤ Today's dessert = Custard cream ⑥ Today's ice cream = Mango ice cream ⑦ Today's sorbet = Kiwi fruit ⑧ (10 years of heat) Sherry and raisin ice cream ❶ Espresso coffee ❷ Blend coffee ❸ Manzamilla (a type of daisy tea) Digestive effect Spanish tea Manzanilla I wasn't sure what to get, but I decided to try the ① "Chestnut mousse" that won 2nd place in an international competition, and the ③ "Spanish tea" since I was there. The Spanish tea was an herbal tea with a gentle flavor. The chestnut mousse, shaped like a pudding, was normally sweet and delicious. The "custard cream" that my partner ordered was different from the custard cream we usually eat. It was less sweet and didn't have much character. The restaurant was bustling with customers from lunchtime until around 2 pm, and it's easy for solo diners to enjoy. There was a slight issue with the drinks, but they handled it wonderfully, and I had a great meal.
