The paella course, available for two people during lunchtime, is quite comprehensive. While the paella itself is shared, other dishes can be ordered individually. This allows couples to create a diverse lunch experience. We opted for the seafood paella, and the balance between the juicy paella infused with the essence of seafood and the crispy 'socarrat' (burnt rice) was excellent. The bouillabaisse, though seemingly simple, also impressed with its flavorful and deep broth. Weekend lunch reservations can be made online on the morning of the day. Arriving around 11:45 am on Saturday, we found the restaurant almost full, so reservations are highly recommended.
We arrived around noon on a holiday weekend and waited in line for about 5 minutes before being seated. This was our second visit. This time we ordered the course (¥2,200 per person x 2 + ¥200 extra for beef instead of the standard appetizer). The paella was delicious. Last time we had the uni (sea urchin) paella, and this time we ordered the porcini mushroom paella. Both were excellent. The other dishes in the course were decent (the pork was a bit fatty, so I recommend the beef for an extra ¥200). If you're going with someone else, I recommend ordering two different paellas instead of one paella with the course for two people. That way you'll be more satisfied (sorry, I'm not sure if you can order two paellas for two people). Overall, I think the price is good for the quality. By the way, I posted a separate review about Nemuro Hanamaru on the same floor. (This location only) The food and service were truly chaotic and terrible, so I don't recommend it. If you want to go, definitely go to the standing-only version of the same restaurant in the basement of this building (there's usually not much of a wait).
I visited in the evening. It was a bit early, so I was able to get in without waiting. It was initially empty, but it was full within 30 minutes. I was lucky with the timing. The food was a bit orthodox, with paella and aioli being the main dishes. When you order, you can choose between olives or nuts, so I chose olives. However, it was not what I expected, it was pickled olives in a jar. Should this be called pickled olives? Moreover, it wasn't very tasty... It felt a bit forced to have this. The potato tortilla was delicious. The rest was neither good nor bad, just average.
I was very satisfied with the course that included appetizers, main course, paella, dessert, and drinks for around 2,500 yen. The food was incredibly delicious, and being able to choose everything made it enjoyable. On weekdays, they even offered a welcome drink! Located inside the Tokyu Plaza, the restaurant had a calm atmosphere with ample space between tables.
"Bar Espanol LA BODEGA" located on the top floor of Tokyu Plaza Ginza in Ginza. 🥘 ✓ Recommended points • Authentic Spanish cuisine using fresh seafood • Paella lunch is available from ¥1,000 • Convenient location on the 10th floor of Tokyo Plaza Ginza ✓ Ordered menu • Seafood Paella ¥1,793 (Paella, Salad) I visited on a weekend afternoon and was able to enter right away. I had the seafood paella. 🥘 It came with a salad, and the paella was hearty and delicious. 😋✨ On weekdays, drinks are also included, making it even more affordable. 🥤 It's recommended for paella lunch in Ginza. 🥘 It seems there are also locations in Marunouchi and Shibuya. 🫧 Thank you for the meal!
