I ordered a teppanyaki steak using my Priority Pass. It was a great perk that my husband could enjoy for free. The restaurant opens at 7:30 AM, and there was already a line of about 15 people, likely those also taking advantage of the free meal. It takes quite a while for the food to be prepared (around 30 minutes), so those with limited time before boarding might feel rushed. We made the most of the wait time by having one person stay with the food while the rest of the family went to the lounge and came back with snacks. It was the perfect amount of time for the food to be ready. The steak was quite tough and chewy. It was delicious, but it might be difficult to bite through.
This restaurant is located in the Japan Food Area, which opened in September 2024. I used my Priority Pass to order a steak set. There was no line, and I was able to order immediately. I have no complaints. It's owned by the same company as Bodeju.
I used my Priority Pass to have a meal here, but the meat was so bad that I would only consider this place a teppanyaki restaurant in name only. I wouldn't eat here if I had to pay. I'm surprised this place even got a spot in the airport. I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a pre-flight meal.
If you have a Priority Pass, you can enjoy a free meal worth 3,400 yen. There are two exclusive sets available: the Osaka Dotonbori Set or the Teppanyaki Steak Set. I chose the Beef Lamp Steak Set. Well, free food is always delicious (laughs). Of course, everything is expensive at the airport, so it's not bad. I wouldn't eat this for that price if I had to pay myself, though. 😆 The rice was dry and not very tasty. My flight was at 9:30, so the 7:30 opening time was perfect. I ate inside, but you can also eat in the spacious food court.
A meal in the area after security checks. I craved some sauce and okonomiyaki before leaving the country. It seems to be a restaurant from the Botejyu group. You can use your Priority Pass dining benefits here. This time, I ordered a regular okonomiyaki. It was a bit pricey at ¥1,738. The food hall itself seems to be geared towards inbound tourists, and there were many foreign visitors, so everything was generally expensive. The taste was just okay. The ramen at Ginza Kagari was very popular.
