Absolutely delicious curry bread! It was a bit spicier than other curry breads I've heard are good, making it unique. The savory breads were also delicious, like the ham cutlet sandwich, milk French bread, and hamburger bread. Everything was tasty and the size was just right. ^^ The second time I went, I was lucky enough to get some freshly fried bread! The Tsukiji market is great, but the rice shop near the exit of the new market has delicious onigiri, and this bakery is also great. If more delicious shops were to open up, the area would really thrive. But I think the old market being too trendy is a bit much. This is a great place, so I'll keep coming back.

A stroll through the town of Shintomichino. I found a charming local bakery and went inside. The colorful selection was overwhelming. The Taiwanese donut was large and fluffy. I carefully picked it up with tongs and placed it on the tray. It was generously dusted with milk powder, offering a gentle sweetness. The crispy exterior and soft interior created a delightful texture. The peanut koppe had large peanuts that added a textural accent and a nutty aroma. The ambiance of the place definitely enhanced the taste. The shops in this area are truly unique and delicious, not just good but truly special. It's the heart of Tokyo's culinary scene.

I was hooked on Taiwanese donuts in Taiwan, so I came here looking for a place to buy them in Tokyo. They had two flavors: milk and soybean flour. I got the milk flavor, and it was huge! The milk powder was so smooth and delicious. The cream donut was also very satisfying, with plenty of cream inside. I definitely want to buy more Taiwanese donuts in the future.

A new bakery has opened in Tsukiji and it's incredibly popular. This bakery, known as "513" (pronounced "Koisan"), is already a hit in Mie and Aichi prefectures. What intrigues me is their magical stone oven, imported from Spain. It must hold the secret to their delicious bread. They have a wide variety of savory breads, with the Taiwanese donut being a particular favorite. It comes in milk and kinako (soybean flour) flavors. My family is a fan of the milk flavor. My kids actually introduced me to this place. I took a bite of their curry bread and it was delicious, but my son snatched it away from me.

Opened on May 13th, so it's called '513' (today is May 13th, 2024). The main store is in Mie Prefecture. It's less than a minute from Tsukiji Station's Exit 4. The fluffy Taiwanese donuts and beef-filled curry bread are must-tries. Personally, I recommend the 'tsuno pan' (horn bread) style salt bread. It's truly delicious. Recently, the mille-feuille bread has been popular. Closed on Sundays. Opens at 10:00 AM. (←Please confirm before visiting)
