The terrace seating is pet-friendly. The service is excellent, and they are quick to serve food according to your preferred taste.
The shrimp with mayonnaise here is incredibly delicious. I've tried similar dishes at other high-end restaurants, but personally, I haven't found anything that surpasses this one. The mapo tofu is also deeply flavorful and delicious, making it perfect for enjoying with rice.
I made a reservation for this evening and arrived around dinner time. Although my reservation was for 6 PM, there were no other customers, so I probably didn't need to make a reservation. I was planning to order a la carte from the menu, but the ¥5,000 course included all-you-can-drink, so I went with that. It's Sichuan Chinese food, so it was a bit spicy, but the staff asked about my spice tolerance for each dish, which was very helpful for someone like me who can't handle much spice. The course dishes were served in small portions, so I ended up ordering an additional steamed chicken noodle dish. The rich chicken broth was quite delicious. The service was excellent, and I would definitely visit again.
I visited for lunch on Saturday and ordered the Green Pepper and Pork Stir-fry lunch set (¥1,100 including tax). The food arrived quickly. The delicious Green Pepper and Pork Stir-fry, egg soup, white rice, and pickles were all served on a tray. The Green Pepper and Pork Stir-fry was piping hot, generous in portion, and delicious. During lunch time, rice refills are free, so I couldn't resist having another serving. It was a delicious meal! I'll definitely come back again!
【Mapo Tofu Exploration】 As a die-hard mapo tofu enthusiast, I frequented the original Shiran branch in Akutsuka, so I immediately visited the Toyosu branch when my office moved to Toyosu. It's true that maintaining consistent flavor across multiple locations is challenging, but I think they're doing a good job. The Sichuan peppercorn mapo tofu costs ¥1,300. It's a genuine, soupy-style mapo tofu, so I recommend choosing the Sichuan peppercorn option (B or C for lunch) instead of the regular one.
