Searching for a restaurant to host a reunion dinner after 3 years... With the desire to savor matsutake mushrooms leisurely, we found the perfect limited-time course! (Quoted from the website below) Seasonal Specialty Course Featuring carefully selected Kobe beef as the main dish, we offer teppanyaki dishes that highlight the best of seasonal ingredients. ~Matsutake Mushrooms, Hair Crab, Kobe Beef~ This menu perfectly matched our needs, so we made a reservation with the event organizer a month in advance. This special limited-time course has a limited number of ingredients, so it seems that weekends are fully booked a month in advance. The Ginza branch has a more classic and sophisticated atmosphere, attracting an older clientele. The explanations about the ingredients instill a sense of reassurance. It feels like enjoying an attraction! The staff and chefs are friendly and approachable, answering any questions about the dishes, providing new insights and making it a very educational experience. We chose a course with a generous amount of food, but they were happy to adjust the portions and encouraged us to focus on enjoying the ingredients, making us feel comfortable and allowing us to savor every bite. The crab, truffle, and sea bream were all incredibly fresh! They paired perfectly with the Kobe beef. We enjoyed our meal at the counter, fully immersed in the dining experience. For dessert, we were escorted to a separate tea room area, allowing us to catch up, reminisce about the meal, and plan our next visit, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
We've been gradually stepping up from Ukai Toriyama, and finally, we came to Ginza Ukai-tei for lunch. We arrived a little early, but they let us wait in the reception area, allowing us to adjust our time in the heat. As for the food, delicious dishes were beautifully presented on elegant tableware, making it aesthetically perfect. I can imagine that other guests would be satisfied as well. We relaxed with dessert, but the interior, the time spent with the staff, it was all a blissful experience. Thank you. We will definitely come back to dine again.
A famous restaurant that even President Trump visited, it's a tradition to celebrate my birthday here every year. The course dishes are all wonderful and enjoyable. For women, the final dessert is a highlight. There are several desserts to choose from, and a dessert wagon reminiscent of Joel Robuchon. The dessert wagon is simply the best. It's expensive, but I want to go back again. It's a wonderful restaurant that I want to visit again and again.
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. The service was fantastic. We enjoyed a multi-course meal, each dish with a distinct flavor, thoughtfully designed to prevent monotony. After the meal, we were escorted to a separate area for dessert, creating a very relaxing atmosphere where we savored delicious tea sweets. All the desserts were delicious! I especially recommend the fresh chocolate, which had a sophisticated taste with a hint of brandy. To celebrate our anniversary, the restaurant presented us with a plate, flowers, and even took our picture, which they developed and gave to us. It was truly wonderful! For all the exceptional service, the price was very reasonable. We definitely plan to visit again.
The restaurant has a retro-modern, substantial atmosphere. It uses a lot of valuable keyaki (Japanese zelkova) beams, which is very luxurious and beautiful. I also personally love this Showa-era feel. There are many staff members in the restaurant, but they all have smiles and provide wonderful, heartfelt service. It's the perfect place to have a meal on a special occasion.
