I joined the line around 11:10 am on Saturday and waited about 20 minutes before entering. The restaurant seemed to be open after 11 am, and the turnover rate seemed pretty good. I ordered the silver cod simmered in soy sauce (¥1,430), which came with small dishes of sashimi and other items. They also offer large portions of rice. The quality of the simmered dish was high, and it was very delicious, making for a highly satisfying meal. On that day, two items were already sold out when I entered, and all the simmered dishes were sold out by 11:45 am. If you have something specific in mind, you'll need to get in line early. I revisited and tried the seafood bowl (¥1,430), which was also of a high standard from the looks of it, and of course, it was delicious. I got a large portion of rice and was very satisfied. It was the best. There was no line when I finished eating around 12 pm, so if you're not picky, you might be able to avoid the line by going a little later.
I thought I might be able to avoid the line on a rainy day with a typhoon approaching, so I arrived around 11:10 am. I thought I was the first in line, but someone called out to me from inside the store. They opened a little early, which is a great gesture. I really appreciate that kind of consideration. I ordered and paid first. They accept PayPay. I also got a loyalty card. I ordered the seafood bowl. It arrived in about 3 minutes. They use good quality fish. It looks delicious. I took each piece of fish, dipped it in soy sauce with wasabi, and put it in my mouth. It was so good! Everything was delicious, but the squid, medium fatty tuna, and ikura were especially good! The quality of the food is definitely worth the price. I was about 70% full. If you eat a lot, I recommend ordering a large portion of rice.
Everything was delicious. I ordered the buri daikon (yellowtail radish), and it was packed with chunks of buri that were incredibly fatty. The sashimi was also of high quality. I've finally found a great new restaurant. Lunch sells out quickly, so get there early. I'll definitely be back.
This is the best seafood teishoku (set meal) restaurant in Kinshicho! It's a popular spot, so be prepared to wait in line. Even on a weekday, I arrived at the restaurant at 10:45 am and was the second person in line. They usually open at 11:30 am, but recent social media posts mentioned opening around 11:00 am. On this day, they opened at 11:03 am. There were 15 people in line when they opened, and the line continued to grow throughout the day. Even when I left at 11:30 am, there were still 20 people waiting outside. Upon entering, you order and pay at the counter. They accept PayPay. After paying, the staff will assign you a seat. You can then leave your belongings and get cold water or hojicha (roasted green tea) from the self-service dispenser while you wait for your food. This time, I ordered the "Mix Fry Teishoku" for 1430 yen. It came with two shrimp tempura, a thick piece of horse mackerel tempura, a cream croquette, four types of sashimi including tuna, a small side dish, miso soup, and rice. You can get a free large portion of rice. The taste, quality, and price are all excellent. However, perhaps due to the busy nature of the restaurant, the dressing, sauce, and wasabi were in takeout containers. The food arrived about 5 minutes after I sat down. Even though the restaurant was full, the food came out quickly, suggesting they have a lot of preparation and pre-cooking done. The seafood donburi (rice bowl) and simmered fish teishoku seemed to be popular choices as well.
The food was fresh and delicious, I was completely satisfied. They opened around 11:10 am, before their official opening time. When I looked back, there were already about 20 people in line. You order and pay first, then they seat you and you get your own drinks. They accept PayPay and Rakuten Pay. I'm curious about the other menu items and would like to come back at night and enjoy some drinks. They no longer offer free large portions, it's an extra 110 yen.
