◎Second Visit: April 2024 • Added photos (2) ◎First Visit: January 2024 A small bakery near Ueno Station. They seem to use only domestic wheat. The bread is slightly smaller than average, and I personally found the prices to be reasonable. The [Croissant] was above expectations, with a rich buttery aroma. The [Salt Red Bean Butter] was a salt bread, and the sweet red bean paste was a delicious collaboration that enhanced the flavor. I definitely want to visit again.

A stylish-looking bakery. I arrived before 3 pm on a weekday. There was no line. There were only a few breads left. It's clear that this is a popular place. The baker was working on a bread prototype, and I saw some breads placed in the back. I asked for one without realizing it was a prototype. The baker said, "This is a prototype. Would you like to try it?" Of course, I accepted! It was a delicious hard bread, and I was convinced that this bakery was the real deal! I bought an an-butter (red bean and butter), a croissant, and a loaf of shokupan (Japanese milk bread). I ate the an-butter right away, and it was delicious! I had a lot of luggage, so I had to stop there. I froze the shokupan for a while, then thawed and reheated it. Even compared to other shokupan, it was delicious! I regret not buying more. I definitely want to go back to this bakery!

A stylish bakery tucked away in a quiet corner. The owner, a young and handsome man, was very friendly. The "an-butter" (red bean and butter) French bread was delicious! I love "an-butter" and have tried it at many different places, but this one is my favorite. The saltiness of the butter is just right, and the bread is crispy. The pastries are all small, which is perfect for me because I like to try a little bit of everything.

I visited around noon, but there were only about six types of bread. I was angry, thinking they should put more effort into making them! Plus, the prices were a bit steep. The taste was nothing special. It seems like they're running the place by themselves, but that's pretty common these days, so it's not an excuse. I probably won't go back.

Delicious! It's full of flavor and has creative touches that keep you coming back for more! The shop's exterior is so stylish that I hesitated to go in at first, but the staff were very kind. I found out later that everything is hand-kneaded! I was so surprised!
