This place offers a 1-hour all-you-can-drink deal for 1500 yen, featuring 6 original craft beers plus Premium Malt's. (However, a small dish and one main dish per person are mandatory.) It's located in Mark City, but you have to go up the stairs outside to the second floor. Despite its location, it was crowded even on weekdays. Regarding the beer: Honestly, the craft beer is at the lowest level. The taste and pouring were terrible. They had various major styles like Saison, Weizen, Hazy, and Double IPA, but they all tasted the same. It felt like they were just trying to be different. The taste profile was similar to Suntory's Tokyo Craft series, lacking in everything. The brewery's philosophy seems to be "for people who don't like beer," but that usually doesn't work out well. It's rare to find a brewery where everything is this unpalatable. (Though not unheard of...) What's even worse is that with the all-you-can-drink option, they serve beer in glasses that are only 80-90% full, poured haphazardly. Is the gas pressure also just random? I thought the all-you-can-drink at places like Kagiya, where you can pour your own beer, might be better. In the end, I ended up ordering more Premium Malt's. The food is delicious, especially the fish and oysters. However, even though they had crab miso and other dishes, none of them paired well with the beer. An oyster stout would have been nice. So, to sum it up, the food is good, and the staff is plentiful and attentive, so the restaurant itself is good. If you don't have high expectations for the beer and are looking for a place to eat and have a good time, it might be an option.
It's great that they have a lunch menu on Saturdays! I ordered the seafood negitoro donburi (tuna and avocado rice bowl) and the grilled mackerel set. Both were very filling! The rice portion was quite large, and I ended up leaving a little bit. The small side dish that came with the negitoro donburi (it was braised daikon radish that day) was absolutely delicious! The grilled mackerel was a bit overcooked for my taste, but it was still good. Even though it was a lunch menu, it was the cheapest option at 1,180 yen. It would be nice if it were a little cheaper.
📍Shibuya [Uogakin Jozo] Uogakin Jozo in Shibuya, where they brew craft beer in-house. 🐠🍺 I'm only rating this place based on my lunch experience, so I haven't included any assessment of their drinks. Their signature sashimi set costs over ¥1,500. I ordered the ginger pork set, which was recommended, but the flavor was too strong! It's understandable given the location, but ¥1,380 felt a bit pricey.
If you're looking for a seafood feast in Shibuya, this is the place! ✨ As a sashimi lover, the sashimi platter is such a great deal, it's amazing! ❤️ We went with two people, but ordered the affordable three-piece platter (for 3 people) ✨ The amount was so generous, we couldn't help but shout in delight, 'Where are the three pieces?!' ❣️ Uokinn in Mark City has a craft beer all-you-can-drink option, so of course we went for it that day and enjoyed plenty of delicious fish with our beer! ✨
I visited on a weekend evening. It was almost full, even though it was crowded in front of Shibuya Station on the weekend, but I was able to squeeze in! The sashimi was rich and delicious, and all the other snacks were delicious too!
