I visited around 1 pm on a weekday. I was immediately seated, but the restaurant was about 80% full. Orders were placed using a QR code, and payment was made cashless at the exit upon leaving. I ordered the Tokyo Napolitan, pudding, iced tea, and iced royal milk tea. The Napolitan had thick, chewy noodles. The flavor wasn't just ketchup, it had a sweetness and acidity that wasn't too strong, making it easy to eat. It was delicious with plenty of sausage, onion, and green pepper. The pudding's caramel had a strong bitterness. It also had a slight sourness, so maybe they mixed caramel with espresso? The restaurant is located in the free passageway outside the ticket gates between the Marunouchi and Yaesu exits. You can relax and watch people passing by from the counter seats. All the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable.
The dimly lit interior creates a nostalgic atmosphere. Delicious coffee. Firm pudding. Bittersweet caramel sauce. Counter seats with a view of people passing by the station. Pudding with a subtle sweetness. A larger-than-expected coffee cup. The moment the spoon touches the pudding, you feel its smoothness and firmness. The pudding is square. A coffee cup unlike any I've seen before. I love everything about this place. If you go early in the morning, it's a great way to start your day. This is the kind of place that makes you feel that way.
Located outside the Marunouchi North Exit ticket gate. I visited because I wanted to try the swing-type beer tap, which is rare these days. A swing-type tap is a kind of retro beer server, and you can only see them in a limited number of places. The beer falls quickly, making it difficult to pour, but I couldn't choose my seat, so I couldn't see the beer being served. Even so, if they can create this foam with a swing-type tap, the server must be quite skilled. The Sapporo Black Label (¥800) was delicious. And the other reason I came here was for the pudding (¥700). A square pudding with plenty of caramel sauce. The pudding itself is firm, and the caramel sauce is fragrant and sophisticated. A nostalgic pudding. The counter has a hotel key-designed bar for payment, giving it a luxurious feel, like a hotel bar or a drink on the Orient Express. One thing I found disappointing was that, due to the location, there were more customers who came to chat than to enjoy beer, making it too noisy. With this luxurious interior, I would come back again if it were a little quieter. And the pudding is available for takeout (¥550, smaller size), which I also ordered. JR points can be earned. Good points: - The square pudding is sophisticated. - It feels like you're on a transcontinental train journey. - The swing-type tap beer is delicious. Disappointing points: - The takeout pudding is small.
The cafe is located right in front of the Yaesu North Exit, but be careful as it's not inside the station. It's a popular cafe with a prime location right in front of the ticket gate, open from 7am to 10pm. Our group operates 11 stores, including "JOE TALK COFFRR" in Shibuya and "dancyu食堂" in Marunouchi. I visited on a weekend afternoon around 2pm. It was full with a 6-person wait, but I was able to get in after about 15 minutes. The space has a calming, classic, and retro-cute atmosphere. It's a counter-only seating arrangement, but with about 50 seats, it's quite spacious. ◆ A la carte - Nostalgic Bitter Pudding The pudding is firm and large. The caramel sauce is quite bitter, making it a sophisticated dessert. It pairs perfectly with coffee. - Home-Roasted Coffee The dishes are unique and cute. The coffee is served in a plate, which was a bit surprising. Made with JOE TALK COFFEE beans, the coffee has a good aroma and is refreshing and delicious. It was the perfect space to relax before my next appointment. It's also suitable for a quick visit as it has a good atmosphere and many solo customers. You can enjoy a slightly more luxurious time than usual. Thank you for the meal. I'll be back again.
Located right outside the North Exit of the Gransta basement at Tokyo Station is "DEPOT." It might look like a bar at first glance, but they seem to be pushing their Napolitan during lunchtime. So, I ordered the "Tokyo Napolitan with cheese topping." The spaghetti is uniquely thick and cooked al dente, coated in a tangy sauce that you don't find often elsewhere. The sausage, mushrooms, and bell peppers add a nice touch. The sourness might be a bit too much for older folks. After this, I was able to soothe myself with their other specialty, the "Old-fashioned Firm Pudding" with its bitter caramel. Orders are placed through a QR code, and they don't accept cash.
