A long-established restaurant with consistently delicious food! The hot pot and seafood salad are very popular, and the yakiniku is of course delicious. It's good to have yakiniku before the hot pot. The interior and exterior haven't changed since it opened, and it feels like a retro yakiniku restaurant that's taken you back in time to the Showa era. I've been coming here since I was a child, brought by my parents when we came to Tokyo from the countryside! When you think of Ueno, this is the place!

Every cut of meat here is a winner. The flavors are well-marinated, but the seasoning is gentle and delicious. They recently started serving 'Pietro' (second from the right in the photo), and I tried it. It was incredibly marbled and incredibly tasty. The makgeolli is slightly sweet and lightly carbonated, making it very easy to drink. It's relatively affordable for this area, and the owner's warm and friendly service is the best. Reservations are essential during peak hours. Thank you for the delicious meal!

While the kalbi and roast beef are undeniably delicious, their hormone-based dishes are truly exceptional. I highly recommend the premium kalbi, small bag (kobukuro), upperミノ (mino), oxtail, and so much more. I could go on and on. The sauce is also exquisite. And let's not forget, the sake is amazing!

The restaurant has a classic, old-school yakiniku vibe. The meat was thick and satisfying. Maybe because I went during a less busy time, the service was quick and I had a comfortable meal. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in Ueno!

I went with a friend. The yakiniku here was truly amazing. I was particularly impressed by the tan-shio (salted beef tongue), rosu (rib roast), and upper mino (beef tripe). The meat, marinated thoroughly in the sauce, was bursting with sweetness and umami, leaving me feeling very satisfied. I think it's worth the price. The harami (skirt steak) was also delicious, but I find that restaurants with excellent rosu tend to be exceptional overall.
