The main dish prices are around ¥1,500 for pasta, and salad, soup, and drinks (green tea, oolong tea, coffee) are all refillable. The pasta is delicious, needless to say, and the salad changes daily, but the avocado potato salad, steamed chicken with bean sprouts (lemon-flavored, namul-style) were particularly tasty. Overall, it's great value for the price. I made a reservation for a weekday during the Golden Week holiday, and the restaurant was full within 30 minutes of opening, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The entrance was a little hard to find. The sofa seats were on the terrace, but there was a roof. The table seats on the terrace seemed a bit too sunny.
A 20-something woman dined alone. I was looking for a place to have lunch while I had some time to kill before my appointment. I saw a sign for this restaurant on the back side and decided to go in because it seemed like good value for the price. I ordered the "Omelette with Grilled Chicken and Demi-Glace Sauce" for ¥1,500 (tax included) and the "Tiramisu" for dessert for ¥350 (tax included). The lunch set came with a salad, soup, and drink buffet, so I could eat as much as I wanted without worrying about the price or the quantity. I felt that there weren't many options in the buffet, but considering the location, price, and atmosphere of the restaurant, it was totally fine. Most of the staff had lovely smiles.
A cafe I had bookmarked a while back. It's located just a 2-minute walk from Takeshita Exit of Harajuku Station, right next to Takeshita Street, in a stylish alley called Brahms's Path, with a terrace. I visited on a weekday during off-peak lunch hours, but it was still bustling with customers, a testament to its popularity. The terrace was empty, so I opted for a table there. The open-air terrace made me forget I was in Harajuku. There was a heater, so it was perfectly fine as long as I had a jacket on. The terrace is also dog-friendly. Lunch is priced reasonably at ¥1,400 and up, with a choice of main dish, salad buffet, and drink bar. They offer a variety of options, including daily pasta,ハンバーグ (hamburg steak), andオムライス (omelette rice). I went for theオムライス. Ordering is done through a mobile app. What I had that day: - Special Creamy Omelette Rice with Grilled Chicken in Demi-Glace Sauce - ¥1,500 There are four different types of omelette rice to choose from. While waiting for my omelette rice, I went to the buffet corner to grab some salad and drinks. The drink options included hot and iced coffee, tea, green tea, and iced oolong tea. There was also soup, which was a Chinese-style soup that day. The salad wasn't just leafy greens, but also included sweet sweet potatoes, potato salad, and other delightful additions. The creamy omelette rice with its tangy demi-glace sauce was delicious, with ketchup rice inside. I went back for seconds on the salad and enjoyed a milk tea after my meal. It might be difficult to get a table on weekends, but I highly recommend the relaxing terrace seating. I'll definitely be back.
Located in the heart of the triangle formed by Omotesando, Harajuku Station, and Takeshita Street, this restaurant offers a tranquil escape from the bustling crowds. The entrance may be narrow, but the interior is spacious, with a large terrace that creates an open and inviting atmosphere. Perfect for gatherings and parties, this versatile establishment offers a variety of options. On this occasion, I visited for lunch. While the daily lunch specials looked tempting, I opted for the squid, cod roe, and perilla spaghetti (large portion), the special melt-in-your-mouth omelet rice, and the tomato and cheese-topped hamburger. Soup and salad are available in a buffet style, allowing guests to enjoy as much as they like. The pasta noodles were chewy and had a nice springy texture. The lively atmosphere made me want to return.
I made a reservation for the terrace seating so I could bring my dog. The ventilation was good, and the shade from the adjacent building blocked the sun, making it a comfortable spot on a nice day in October. The pasta seasoning, texture, and thickness of the noodles were perfectly balanced. I'm not a food connoisseur, so I don't know if it was the cooking method or the fresh noodles, but it was as delicious as any spaghetti specialty restaurant. The quiet, gentle atmosphere of the restaurant reflects the kind and attentive service of the staff.
