I visited this place for the first time because they were participating in the Curry Marathon. While the location might be a bit tricky to find, I think most people who come here will have done their research beforehand, so it shouldn't be a problem. The curry was incredibly energizing! They have so many tempting menu options, I'm already looking forward to deciding what to order next time. They also accept d払い.
September 21, 2024 (Saturday) Curry adventure in Shibuya. I had a few options, but I decided to go to this place. You order by scanning a QR code on the table and selecting from the menu that appears. The food arrived quickly without much waiting. - 3-Dish Combo (Kenic Curry, Lu Rou Fan, Pineapple Pork Curry) with Soft-Boiled Egg - ¥2100 - Taiwanese Scallion Sauce - ¥100 extra - Draft Beer - ¥700 It was very filling, including the side dishes. But it was so delicious that I devoured it quickly. Each dish was perfectly made, and the flavors blended beautifully when mixed together. This place is truly amazing!
I visited for lunch at 11:30 on a weekday. The building where the restaurant is located was a bit hard to find, and I actually walked past it once before finally finding it. Ordering is done either verbally or through a QR code. From the menu, I ordered the Kenic Curry x Lu Rou Fan with a soft-boiled egg. The vibrant colors were truly appetizing. The soft-boiled egg complemented the keema, and the pickled mustard greens enhanced the lu rou, both playing their roles perfectly. I enjoyed adjusting the flavors throughout the meal with the chili pepper and Sichuan peppercorns on the table. The ability to customize the taste with the spices provided was a great feature. This experience opened up new possibilities for lu rou and curry. As the Spice Prince, who proclaims that hunger is the greatest spice, I, the Curry Baron, was truly satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal.
I was craving delicious spice curry in Shibuya, so I visited this restaurant recommended by a friend who is a creator. The original spice curry and the braised pork rice (Lu Rou Fan) that the owner learned to make during his time sleeping outdoors in Taiwan were both absolutely delicious! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of a building. When you get off the elevator and open the door, you're greeted by a stylish interior with white and red accents. There are counter seats and table seats. Water is self-service. Payment is cashless, so you can't use cash. I'm a big fan of cashless payment! You can order from your phone by scanning a QR code. You can also order verbally. This time, I went alone and ordered from my phone, enjoying the lively atmosphere of the counter seats while I waited for my food. I ordered the "Original Kenic Curry with Braised Pork Rice." You can see the chef diligently preparing the curry in the kitchen. A few minutes later, the curry arrived. The chef kindly explained the pickled vegetables on the table, as well as the Sichuan peppercorns and spicy spices. I was impressed by their hospitality, especially considering how busy they were. The first bite was pure bliss! The carefully crafted spice curry was exquisite. Without any additional spices, the curry has a mild flavor that would appeal to most people. But adding the spices creates a whole new level of deliciousness. The pickled vegetables had a strong flavor that added a nice accent to the curry sauce. The Sichuan peppercorns, when added to the braised pork rice, created a unique tingling sensation and savory flavor that made each bite a new discovery. As I was enjoying the curry, the chef came over to chat. He was a friendly and approachable person. I hope to see him again. The delicious curry and the chef's personality combined to make me understand why this restaurant is so popular. Thank you for the meal!
