I arrived at the shop before 8:30 AM on Monday! Although Google says they open at 8:30, the shop was already open and there were two groups of customers ahead of me. I was so torn, but I finally decided on the smoked chicken sandwich for Ā„1200. The coffee was Ā„700. When the sandwich arrived, I was shocked! Wow, it was amazing! I wasn't sure if I could even finish it. The bread was fluffy and slightly warm. It was delicious! The smoked chicken was quite salty, so I needed a lot of water. It had a sauce like Thousand Island dressing on it. The sandwich itself was absolutely delicious. It was such great value for the price! They said they'll be featured on a national TV show on October 24th. It's sure to become even more popular! By the way, it was empty on Monday morning. I was able to walk right in without waiting. They start serving takeout around 9 AM. I got some takeout too. After I finished one, the staff brought me a takeout container. There were a lot of foreign tourists! It's one sandwich per person.

I went there with my friends for the first time! I had been wanting to go after reading the reviews, and I was really surprised when I saw the huge sandwiches. The bread was so delicious and there were so many eggs, I couldn't stop eating. But it was so big, I took about half of it home. (They give you a container, rubber band, and bag.) The atmosphere of the shop was bright and cute, which was nice. I was curious about how much everyone else was eating, and I even ended up making friends with someone at the table next to me. It was a really nice place!

A friend gifted me a sandwich from an American-style deli near the Kabuki-za Theatre in Higashi-Ginza, a popular spot among celebrities! It was incredibly filling! The bread was thick and fluffy. Both the potato salad and egg salad sandwiches were substantial, and I couldn't finish them in one sitting (laughs). The egg was coarsely mashed, giving it a chunky texture. I'm definitely going to visit the shop next time to enjoy the atmosphere.

šŸŒø American šŸŒø Location: 3-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station Budget: Ā„1,600 per person Hours: Mon-Fri 11:30-14:00 *Closed when bread runs out Reservations: Not available šŸŽ€ Menu šŸŽ€ ā€¢ Egg Sandwich Ā„900 ā€¢ Iced Tea Ā„700 šŸŒø Review šŸŒø I visited as soon as they opened and was able to get a seat on the first round! I was alone, so I shared a table with another customer. The restaurant quickly filled up and there was a bit of a wait after that. My order arrived about 15 minutes after I placed it. I had heard it was big, but it was even bigger than I expected! It was the size of two of my hands. šŸ˜‚ They give you a container to pack your leftovers in, so I took half of it home. The bread itself was chewy and fluffy, and delicious. They use 10 eggs in the sandwich, so it's quite filling. It might be better to go with a friend and share two different sandwiches, as the flavor can get a bit monotonous. āœØ It's a one-drink minimum and the prices are high, but the drinks are also American-sized and quite large! It's worth the price for the size. I'll definitely try the tuna sandwich next time! šŸŒø Thank you for the meal!

The place is a 2-3 minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station. Walking behind the Kabuki-za Theatre on a Sunday, I saw a long line and thought, "Wow, it's crowded!" It turned out to be another popular shop, 'Kissa You.' 'American' also had a long line, and even though it was past noon, we waited outside for about 20 minutes. I had heard it was a place with big portions, so we ordered an egg sandwich and a hamburger sandwich for the two of us. We were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of egg, but it had a strong flavor and went well with the chewy bread. The way we devoured it was truly American. Eating it dynamically, like you're supposed to, might make it even more delicious. However, I wondered if we could finish it all, and we ended up giving up. Since they allow takeout for leftovers, they packed it up neatly for us, and we left the shop. The service and atmosphere are not particularly good, especially during busy times when the shop is cramped and chaotic. However, the impactful egg sandwich might be worth a try.
