I went to Nagato to buy water agar jelly and decided to take a break at a nearby cafe known for its Mont Blanc. It was a weekday afternoon, around 2:30 pm, and I was able to get a seat. However, it took a while for my order to arrive, likely because they were carefully preparing each drink. I ordered a Mont Blanc, iced coffee, and iced cafe au lait. The Mont Blanc was delicious, with a rich chestnut cream flavor and a sweetness that wasn't overpowering. The set with a drink cost 1,500 yen. I was surprised by how delicious the iced coffee was! It was so refreshing, yet still retained its aroma, with a depth of flavor that made me exclaim, "This is so good!" It's a shame it wasn't served in a long glass, but it was truly delicious. The cafe au lait was also very good. I think the cafe would be even better with fewer decorative objects, creating a more minimalist and clean aesthetic.

I visited for afternoon tea and ordered the apple Sibースト and a blend coffee. You could see the apple inside, and it was moist and delicious with the whipped cream. I originally went in for the Mont Blanc, but it was sold out. At night, there is a separate 1,000 yen charge, so if you are using it as a cafe, I recommend visiting before 7:00 PM. They also accept PayPay for payment.

Located just a short distance from Nihonbashi Station, this cafe and bar is called "Silk Road," named after a bustling commercial city in the Middle East. The owner, I hear, is a novelist. The shop is located on the first basement floor, and it has a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem for adults. I had the "Hamburg Steak Sandwich" and a demitasse coffee from the lunch menu. The coffee, carefully brewed using aネルドリップ (ネル drip) method, was a deep roast with a strong bitterness, but also a deep richness and a hint of sweetness. It was delicious. The Hamburg Steak Sandwich was also excellent. The soft hamburger was sandwiched between toasted bread, and it was more substantial than it looked. Since the shop is in the basement, it might be a little hard to find, but I highly recommend it for a coffee break during your stroll through Ginza or Nihonbashi.

The shop had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the Mont Blanc set, and it was delicious. Apparently, their demi-tasse coffee, which is carefully prepared, is highly recommended. It felt like a hidden gem, and it was a great experience.
