Autumn means Mont Blanc. This chocolate shop is the only one that sells it without chocolate. In France, it's a special event, but in Japan, it doesn't feel that special. It's a limited-time item available for eat-in on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, no one seemed to be expecting it. I ordered it with anticipation, but it came out in a plastic case, looking like it was just thrown together. It was a bit disappointing, but it tasted good, and the meringue at the bottom was not soggy and was delicious. At some point, the price of coffee and snacks at chain stores became similar to other options... I hope large chains will continue to offer delicious treats that can't be beaten.
I went there before 3 pm, during tea time. It was relatively empty, but the shop is narrow, so it's easier to enter with two people than four. The sweets were undeniably delicious, but some cakes were sold out. There were also macarons and seasonal sweets. They must have been making hot chocolate drinks, because the shop was filled with a sweet smell. It's great for people who like sweet things, but those who don't might feel a bit sick. I ordered an orange iced tea, and while the taste was delicious, the glass was disappointing. At other places, it would be the kind of glass they use for cold water. I really think they should change the glass. The drink isn't cheap either. In fact, I think the cold water glass is cuter.
My husband brought me back some souvenirs from work. The chocolate is delicious and not too sweet. It feels like it's all about the deliciousness of the cocoa, rather than the sugar or milk. I'd love to try it at the cafe sometime. Later, I went back to buy some macarons. They're the best chocolate macarons ever! Plus, the staff are so kind!
This popular cafe was packed with customers in the cafe space. It's a bit pricey, so I wouldn't buy anything myself, but my senior colleague treated me to chocolate and cake. They were absolutely delicious!
I arrived at 8:20 PM on a Monday night, just 10 minutes before last order. I enjoyed a matcha cake called 'Kivune' and coffee. The cake was delicious as always, and the coffee was excellent. There were no other customers, so I was able to relax quietly and unwind from work. (Update) I revisited and tried the 'Chocolat Fleur de Bois Raspberry Papillon,' so I've added a photo. The tartness of the raspberries perfectly complements the chocolate, creating a sophisticated flavor. (Update) I revisited and tried the limited-time 'Glass of Chocolate Raspberry.' The elegant sweetness and the tartness of the raspberries are exquisite. It's the perfect place to relax after work during the ice cream season. (Update) I revisited to try the 'Berryne,' a limited-time offering available until the end of June. I chose the 'Berryne Chocolat Cafe' from the two options. It's a light and refreshing flavor perfect for early summer. (Update) I stopped by on a weekday evening and had the 'Jardin Pistache' with tea. It has a rich cocoa flavor and a classic taste.
