I went there around 3 pm on Saturday with the purpose of having anmitsu (a Japanese dessert). I was lucky because there were seats available and I was able to get in right away. I ordered the special anmitsu. It was just the right amount of sweetness, the ice cream was delicious, and I was very satisfied! The atmosphere of the shop was also nice and I was able to relax and eat. The staff were also very helpful.
I tried their recommended shaved ice and anmitsu (a Japanese dessert with red bean paste and fruit). In a word, they were incredibly delicious! (*^^*) The red bean paste and homemade ice cream were especially exquisite, with a mellow and refined sweetness. The steamed buns I took home were probably the best I've ever had. The atmosphere of the shop and the owner's service were also excellent. If you want to take a break in Asakusa, I highly recommend stopping by here. (*^^*)
While exploring Asakusa, I stopped by because I was feeling a little hungry. I ordered the cream anmitsu. You can choose between vanilla and matcha ice cream. You can also choose between koshian (smooth red bean paste) and tsubuan (chunky red bean paste). They also have warm matcha tea 🍵. The syrup is delicious, but it's sweet enough even if you don't pour it all over. I was very satisfied! Thank you for the delicious meal!
After exploring Asakusa, I stopped by this cafe for a break. It was a weekday afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded and I was able to get a table right away. I ordered the coffee set with mochi and red bean paste. The flavors were delicate and delicious. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a pleasant place to spend some time. They also seem to offer takeout options for mochi and anmitsu (a Japanese dessert with agar jelly, fruits, and red bean paste).
I visited this place around noon on a weekday at the end of July. I had come to Asakusa for sightseeing on a sweltering day, but the heat was unbearable, and I decided to head back. While searching for a place to rest nearby, I came across Nishiyama, which had good reviews. I ordered the special Nishiyama Anmitsu, and everything was delicious, with the red bean paste and ice cream both homemade and made with care. This time I had the Anmitsu, but the shaved ice, ice cream mochi, and other items looked very tempting. The staff were also kind, and the shop itself was a very relaxing space. It was perfect. Since it was early in the day on a weekday, the shop was still empty, and I wondered why such a wonderful place was so quiet. However, customers gradually started to come in. Judging from the reviews, it seems to be a well-known spot among those in the know. I definitely want to visit again the next time I go to Asakusa.
