This is a South Indian curry specialty store located a short walk from the north exit of Kinshicho Station. The menu is extensive, offering not only curry but also side dishes and rice dishes. The flavors are spicy, but you can adjust the level of spiciness to some extent, so even those who don't like spicy food can enjoy it. I felt that it had a slightly more unique flavor than regular Indian curry, so I recommend the set with many small dishes for first-timers.

Everything I've tried here is delicious. The flavors are not enhanced by excessive seasoning or saltiness, but rather by the rich spices and the pleasant, natural gaminess of the lamb. It's truly remarkable. The food is not heavy, and the flavors are not tailored to Japanese palates. There's nothing gimmicky about it, and I've never left feeling bloated after a meal. For lunch, I love the sets featuring the fragrant, savory Masala Dosa, the delicate lemon rice, the Kerala Parotta, a flaky, rolled-up bread, and the biryani. I always end up ordering two dishes. If you want to try a variety of dishes and have a big appetite, I recommend the thali, which costs between ¥1,400 and ¥1,650. There are also many vegetarian thali options. You can get refills of sambar and white rice. However, parking in this area is a challenge, so it might be better to park elsewhere and walk. There's a parking lot across the street (it's not cheap), but it's usually full of construction trucks and company vehicles. Waiting for a spot is a waste of time. The restrooms are uniquely designed, narrow, and not wheelchair accessible. Assistance is required. Incidentally, I often find that all the other diners are Indian businessmen, and my companions and I are the only Japanese people. I think this speaks volumes about the nature of this establishment. The service is understated and doesn't try to be overly friendly. It's not the typical Japanese style of service, but despite the constant hustle and bustle, the staff are attentive and observant, and they never miss the important details.

This restaurant serves South Indian curry. "Vegetable Meals Vegetarian" Bean curry, sambar (bean and vegetable curry), rasam (tomato and black pepper soup), two types of stir-fried vegetables, buttermilk, papad and rice. I love bean curry, so I was happy to see two different kinds. The buttermilk? was surprisingly addictive. I liked the potatoes in the stir-fried vegetables. There are many takeout orders, so it's a popular restaurant.

A South Indian restaurant in Kinshicho. I visited during lunchtime and had the rice flour crepe set. It came with two curries and a drink. The curries were a tomato-based chicken curry and a coconut milk-based vegetable curry. The chicken was spicy, and the vegetables were mild. The crepe came in two pieces. The edges were crispy and fragrant, while the center was soft and fluffy like a steamed bun. In South India, they apparently eat this with curry. The most popular items seemed to be the meals and biryani, and everyone was ordering them.

The restaurant had a bright and stylish atmosphere. There were 10 different set menus, offering a wide variety of options. Besides naan and rice, they also had sets with Kerala parotta bread and rice flour crepes, which looked delicious. The meals set had 5-6 different curries, I think? I'm not sure if I can finish it all, but I'd like to try it sometime when I have more time. Aiming for a complete conquest of all the dishes! This time, I ordered the chicken biryani set. The pot style was innovative! It stays hot for a long time, so be careful if you have a sensitive tongue. The portion size was also generous. I finished it all while changing the flavor with raita. It wasn't greasy and the spices were well-balanced, which was great. Overall, I would say it was a hit for me! I'll definitely go back.
