I visited around 12:00 pm on Saturday. I thought it would be peak time, but I was the only customer! I was surprised by how spacious it was. It was a very moody cafe with adult vibes, playing mellow music. The only other customers were foreigners, and the staff spoke English. The lunch menu included a roast beef bowl, salad, and juice for ¥1400. It was a bit pricey, but I was satisfied because it was a relaxing atmosphere and the food was delicious. It has the potential to be even more popular.

Located on the 2nd floor of Haneda Innovation City, "J" area, a 5-minute walk from Tenkubashi Station, is a cafe and bar. They offer a wide selection of Costa Coffee's coffee menu, as well as beer, whiskey, and non-alcoholic drinks. Japanese whiskey is particularly affordable, making it a great deal. The space is quite large with a focus on tables. There are many seats and ample space between them, allowing for a relaxed and comfortable experience. This time, I ordered a churros and iced flat white set. The iced flat white is a refreshing blend of Costa Coffee's robustly roasted, fragrant espresso and plenty of steamed milk. Since it's Costa Coffee, I'll skip the details, but I think those from Oceania might not be fully satisfied. The churros are classic cinnamon sugar. They have a crispy exterior and a chewy interior, making them even more delicious than those found at a certain theme park. They come with a high-quality vanilla ice cream, which is absolutely divine when eaten together. This is definitely a winner. The staff are very attentive and, despite appearances (sorry!), they are kind and provide excellent service. It's a great place to spend time before a live performance. (However, it's best to avoid staying too long, so either be mindful of time or order something else.)

You can enjoy unique desserts and aromatic coffee. I visited during snack time and had the dessert set, which included a dessert and coffee. The dessert, which was like a caramelized baumkuchen with vanilla ice cream, had a texture that was unlike any baumkuchen I'd had before, making it a refreshing experience. The fondant au chocolat had a very rich chocolate flavor and the aroma of cocoa filled my mouth. The cafe latte had a rich flavor that perfectly balanced the milk and espresso. The prices are not cheap, but they are not expensive for Haneda Airport.

The cafe part was just a regular COSTA, but I wonder if there's something different about it?

I visited the cafe on a weekend. It was less crowded compared to other cafes, and the seating was spacious, so I could relax even during lunchtime. I was hesitant to go because of the negative reviews, but the service was fine, and I was satisfied overall.
