I went there around 4:20 PM on a Friday, a weekday. It was about 20% full at that time on a weekday. It seems like there's a line during meal times. I ordered the Banh Mi Thit and a hot Brazilian coffee. And I also got some lime leaf garlic spicy peanuts from the register. You can choose between pork and chicken for the Banh Mi, but I went with pork this time. It was delicious! The meat was so good. It was great that there were plenty of vegetables too. The Vietnamese coffee is super strong, but it has sweet condensed milk at the bottom, so it's delicious when you mix it well!
The restaurant is not very spacious and has limited seating. I ordered their most popular "Convenience Store Stall Set Meal." The flavor was tailored to Japanese tastes, not too strong or unusual, making it very easy to eat. The rice was brown rice with adzuki beans, which seemed healthy and was very good.
I visited around 1:30 PM on a weekday. The restaurant was almost full. As I was dining alone, I was seated at the counter, but it was a bit uncomfortable as my back started to ache. A backrest would be helpful. I ordered the Banh Xeo and Mini Pho lunch set. The Banh Xeo was great as it had lots of vegetables, but it was a bit greasy. The chicken Pho was average.
The Vietnamese food is delicious. Some might find it a bit different from the expected Japanese hospitality, but I personally enjoy the bustling, diverse Asian atmosphere. I think those who like traveling in Asia would appreciate it. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes and a good selection of alcoholic beverages. The portions are generous, so you'll be satisfied. I recommend trying the set menu, which allows you to choose from the daily specials. There are also other set menus, like the pho set, offering a variety of options. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent, so I recommend it after your meal. There are also seats with charging outlets.
I was drawn into this shop after finishing my shopping. The exotic atmosphere and extensive menu made it hard to choose! I ordered the lunch set, which lets you pick your favorite dish from the daily specials. Despite just popping in, the meal was quite filling. They also had a cold pho, maybe a summer special? It looked delicious with avocado. I'll definitely stop by again after shopping.
