I was craving something sweet, so I went to the Lieber Tokyo location! I ordered the seasonal Strawberry and Shine Muscat Parfait. The visual impact was impressive—the parfait was beautifully arranged with plenty of strawberries and Shine Muscat grapes. The balance of the tartness from the strawberries, the juiciness of the Shine Muscat, and the cream and ice cream was perfect. It was quite large, but I finished it easily. Thank you for the treat!

A stylish fruit cafe located within Tokyo Station. The cakes are packed with fruit and are incredibly photogenic. However, the prices are correspondingly high, so please be aware of that.

The perfectly ripened Miyazaki mango was undeniably delicious. However, the poor quality whipped cream and ice cream were a huge disappointment. Being named one of the top 100 dessert shops is a misjudgment. While traveling, I stopped by Tokyo Station and, craving a dessert after my meal, decided to visit "Kajitsu-en Rivel," a dessert shop that is one of the top 100 in Japan. The shop's sign advertised a "Perfectly Ripened Miyazaki Mango Parfait," and I ordered it without hesitation. Previously, I had been blown away by the "Perfectly Ripened Miyazaki Mango Parfait" I had at "Shibuya Nishimura Fruit Parlor" in Shibuya, and the sight of Miyazaki mango always triggers an irresistible urge to eat it. I was seated at a long, narrow table, not a proper table, and the seating wasn't very comfortable. I ordered the parfait. The parfait arrived after about 5-6 minutes. The mango, still with its skin on, was a pale green, which raised some concerns about its sweetness. However, upon taking a bite, the mango was incredibly delicious, with a gentle sweetness, soft texture, and juicy flavor that filled my mouth. The parfait featured four slices of mango, with whipped cream and ice cream in the center, and mango sorbet underneath. There were also small pieces of mango at the bottom, allowing me to enjoy a generous amount of mango. However, the vanilla ice cream lacked flavor and had an unpleasant aftertaste, and the whipped cream was hard and of poor quality. It was so bad that even I, a whipped cream lover, couldn't finish it. 4,500 yen for this? It's a shame that a shop serving such a low-quality parfait is considered one of the top 100. It would be cheaper and better to just buy the mango and eat it at home. I had previously visited the Meguro branch of "Rivel" and had a bad experience with the ice cream in the "Amaou Parfait" and the sponge cake in the "Zuccotto." I didn't have a good impression of the shop. However, since it was named one of the top 100 dessert shops and its rating had gone up significantly, I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I also ordered coffee, which came with a drink bar. While I appreciate the low price, the container holding the coffee beans was damp with moisture. Coffee beans are highly susceptible to moisture, and the container should be dry to prevent the beans from absorbing moisture. I won't be visiting this chain again.

If you want to indulge in fruit, this is the place! I was disappointed before when I found a very bruised strawberry in my strawberry parfait, so I didn't go for a while. But recently, a friend invited me and I went again after a long time. All the fruits were fresh and delicious! Maybe the fruit wasn't rotating well during the pandemic when there were fewer customers. I also went there for breakfast the other day. The ingredients were fresh and delicious again! However, it takes a while for the food to be served, so it's best to go with plenty of time.
