I bought some souvenirs from my favorite fruit shop, Senbikiya. Mango Pudding: ¥972 Watermelon Jelly: ¥702 Muskmelon Almond Jelly: ¥972 I often mention this, but I really love watermelon 🐱 Watermelon jelly is pretty rare, so I was intrigued. It's mostly watermelon with a small amount of jelly! The sweetness is also quite subtle, making it very easy to eat. The bottom layer is made with almond jelly, creating a white and green design to represent the watermelon. It was delicious.
I enjoyed a parfait and pudding at the eat-in area. The fruits, like bananas and strawberries, were incredibly delicious. Truly impressive. I had a banana that was so good, it was a revelation! The pudding, however, was a bit of a disappointment. The parfait, though, is highly recommended! ❤️ The price is a bit steep, so I can't go there often. It would be great if it were a bit more affordable. 👌 I had a lovely time and felt very satisfied. It was quite crowded, so it seems to be a popular spot. 😋
It was easy to get a table even during lunchtime. For around ¥1,500, you can enjoy a set with a drink and cake. The iced coffee is also decent.
A meticulously crafted fruit sandwich… sweetness, sourness, texture, size, perfect! Next time, I'll come hungry and try their lunch and parfait!
I had the "Hayashi Rice and Avocado Salmon Sandwich Set" lunch for ¥1,800. The Hayashi was about the level of a retort meal and lukewarm. The sandwich was far better at Seven Eleven. If you value the Kyobashi Sembikiya brand, then go for it. I wouldn't recommend it for those who prioritize taste.
