The restaurant is located in a corner of Ueno's Korean Town, where many Korean barbecue restaurants are lined up. It's a bit hard to find as it's tucked away in a back alley. But the cozy size and nostalgic atmosphere give off a sense of comfort. The meat, as expected, is of excellent quality, both the regular cuts and the offal. Everything was delicious! I think it's a great place to enjoy a good meal without breaking the bank. They have a wide selection of sashimi dishes, and the minced beef is a must-try! It comes in two flavors, white and red, so you can enjoy a taste comparison. I personally prefer the white. The premium beef liver was also excellent, with firm edges and exceptional freshness. It melted in my mouth. The restaurant is small and has limited seating, so reservations are highly recommended! It's no wonder they're a long-established kimchi shop. It was so spicy that I could only eat a little, but it was definitely high quality. And then there's my beloved liver! It was cut into thick slices, truly a 'butsu-giri' (chunk cut) style. 😊 It was so delicious when cooked quickly. It had a nice sweetness and was incredibly fresh. 😋 The premium sirloin was the shin shin cut. 🍖 It was thinly sliced, so it was best enjoyed lightly grilled. It paired perfectly with the sauce, and would be amazing with rice. 😋 I preferred the thick-cut skirt steak. That thickness is just the best! It was cooked to perfection, and it was so delicious. 🍖 Every bite was bursting with flavor.🤤 Rice is a must-have with this one, haha. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making for a comfortable dining experience. This is my go-to spot for yakiniku in the Ueno area from now on! 👍
