The water was terrible! I haven't had water this bad in a long time... I wonder what's going on. This is a high-end chocolate shop, after all! I was looking for a cafe after finishing some errands in Shibuya and found this place by chance on the first floor. Since it's a high-end chocolate shop, I thought the seating might be a bit cramped, but I expected the taste to be good... big mistake. I had forgotten that Alain Ducasse's chocolate has a strong acidity, which isn't my preference. The soft serve ice cream for eat-in is around 1300 yen. It might be delicious, but I don't like acidic chocolate, so I didn't enjoy it... sorry. This is a matter of taste, so I'm sure some people would like it, but for the price, it's not really worth it. And the water was so bad, it was unbelievable for Japan. Now I understand why Jean-Paul Hévin is so popular in Japan.

Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse in Shibuya Scramble Square is a captivating specialty store for chocolate enthusiasts. Stepping inside, you're immediately captivated by the beautifully displayed array of chocolates. Each one is visually stunning and irresistibly tempting, making it hard to choose. The store seems particularly popular with women, with a noticeable number of young ladies browsing. It's an excellent choice for gifts for friends or a treat for yourself. The chocolate ice cream I tried left a lasting impression with its rich, deep flavor. The balance of cocoa aroma and sweetness is exquisite, allowing you to savor the authentic chocolate taste. However, the price is a bit steep, leaving me with the impression of being 'slightly expensive.' Overall, the quality of the products is exceptionally high, and the taste is impeccable. However, my honest opinion is 'delicious but maybe a bit pricey.' The quality as a high-end chocolate is undoubtedly excellent, but it might feel a bit exclusive for casual visits and purchases. In conclusion, Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse is perfect for special occasions, gifts, or when you want to indulge in authentic chocolate. While the prices are on the higher side, I believe they are justified. It's highly recommended for chocolate lovers and those seeking luxurious sweetness. However, it's best to visit when you have some budget flexibility.

The Alan Ducasse chocolate shop located in Shibuya Scramble Square offers a small eat-in area with about 5-6 tables for two. However, their soft serve ice cream, available in two flavors, is only for takeout, with options for cones or cups. The simple GLACE CHOCOLAT, priced in the 800 yen range, is a must-try. As expected from Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse, the soft serve is firm and well-made. The cone comes with a spoon, making it more of an eating experience than a licking one. Absolutely delicious! The couverture chocolate (75% cacao, original blend) is made with carefully selected cocoa beans and is dairy-free. However, a sign prohibits eating at the tables, making it a bit of a drawback that there's no designated eating area.

I had the chocolate mousse and chocolate drink. There was no description on the menu, so I was a bit hesitant to choose, but the chocolate was rich and delicious. It's a great treat for a special occasion. The eat-in space is small with limited seating.

I went to Alain Ducasse's cafe! He's a world-renowned chef who earned three Michelin stars at the youngest age. I was worried if I could get a seat since there are only 12 seats, but I was able to get a table right away because it was a weekday. My child had the Coupe Glacee Praline Cafe for 2090 yen and Le The Blanc Alain Ducasse for 1320 yen. I had the Tart Chocolat Fraise for 1980 yen and coffee for 550 yen. The Coupe Glacee Praline Cafe was a big hit with my child. The staff poured hot chocolate over it. The chocolate slowly melted, and you could mix it in. Wow, that's interesting. Oh! It's delicious! It's very photogenic. The Tart Chocolat Fraise also had a delicate design. It was beautiful from every angle. It's exclusive to the Shibuya Scramble Square store. Le The Blanc Alain Ducasse is a white tea that was jointly developed by Alain Ducasse and KUSMI TEA, a French Parisian maison celebrating its 150th anniversary. It's organic tea leaves. The tea bag comes in a pack of 24 for 5,400 yen. My child tilted their head after drinking it. 'Mom, try it.' I tried it. 'It's so weak!' It doesn't have any flavor. Looking closely, there's only one tea bag for two cups of tea in the teapot. I had read reviews of KUSMI TEA saying it was weak, so maybe I put in too much water... That's disappointing. 😢 I bought some chocolate! I went to Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse Shibuya Scramble Square. This was my first time trying Alain Ducasse's chocolate, so I got the smallest size in milk chocolate because I was worried my daughter wouldn't eat it. Ganache Gourmand, 4 pieces for 2268 yen. The bag the chocolate came in was a brown bag that looked like a candy store bag. It doesn't feel luxurious... Maybe it's a natural bag because they value the natural aroma and taste of cocoa. The box is natural, simple, and cute. I took a bite. What is this...? My cheeks are falling off! My daughter was surprised by the chocolate she had never tasted before. She said she could really taste the natural flavor and aroma of the cocoa. Then I tried it too. It's not sweet, so it's not my preference. Wait! Why are my cheeks falling off after decades? Why? I googled it, but I couldn't find the reason. My daughter is holding her cheeks and thinking, 'Maybe it's because it's sour?' After that, my daughter kept nibbling on it, saying, 'Oh, it's so delicious!' It seems she really likes it. My daughter, you're such an adult. It's not really a dessert... I don't know, it seems like it would go well with alcohol. Jean-Paul Hévin is delicious. Alain Ducasse is yummy. Alain Ducasse's chocolate is for adults. It's like a movie, enjoying it stylishly with a glass of champagne. (It's impossible at our house, though.) It's chocolate for those who want to enjoy the natural flavor of cocoa!
