Gransta, located within Tokyo Station. There aren't many shops open before 7 am, so I stopped by for breakfast during my transfer from the Sobu Rapid Line to the Shinkansen. I had a sandwich and tea. Well, the Tokyo Station prices are unavoidable. The atmosphere was relaxed. On weekdays, it's full by 7:30 am.
The bakery in the basement of Tokyo Station (Tokyo Station B1) 🍞 You can eat in or take out. 🆗 It might be difficult to find a seat due to the location. 🪑 The bread was delicious! 😋🍞 I had a cup of blended coffee (hot) inside the store. ☕ I would have preferred a coffee cup (a container other than paper) over the paper cup with a spout. 😆
A bakery originating in Karuizawa, a town known for its beautiful scenery and fresh air. This bakery is located in the basement of Tokyo Station in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. In the past, I used to go all the way to Roppongi just to get their bread. I recently had their bread again, and it was delicious. The bread truly has a flavorful dough. I took home a salted butter roll and a pistachio chocolate pie. Salted Butter Roll: The perfect amount of butter and salt brought out the deliciousness of the dough. Pistachio Chocolate Pie: It wasn't crispy, but I loved the dough and the flavor. The pistachio flavor was subtle and natural. The chocolate sweetness was also restrained. Nothing special, but as others have mentioned, the cashier's attitude was unpleasant.
The book-shaped item in Karuizawa has a cute design. The price is a bit steep, but it's so cute I can forgive it.
The curry bread was completely flat. The staff's hospitality was almost nonexistent. The price isn't cheap either, so it's best to use it with a clear understanding of what you're getting.
