We made a reservation for the chef's choice and went. The chef was very friendly, so we could relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The omakase course and drinks cost about 70,000 yen for two people. Considering the location, I think it's relatively reasonable.
You can enjoy delicious sushi in a cozy, homey atmosphere. The style is appetizer, sushi, appetizer, sushi, so you can drink until the very end! w
We recently saw this restaurant featured on the gourmet website "OMAKASE" and were intrigued, so my subordinate and I went to check it out. The seating is all counter-style, with eight seats arranged in an L-shape. Five seats are directly in front of Chef Jun-ichi Sato, and three are on the side. The chef and his wife run the place, and since they don't have a set start time, it seems like they only have one seating per night. Also, there's a bit of a distance from the entrance to the counter, and the space feels much larger than the 15 tsubo (about 50 square meters) it actually is. They've cleverly divided the kitchen into two sections to maximize the space. The food was all delicious! The tuna was definitely from Ishiji. We also had some great conversations about sushi with other customers, who were all in the sushi industry or food-related businesses. Overall, we were very satisfied! The bill came out to 66,990 yen for two people, including one beer each and six go of sake. That's about 33,000 yen per person, which is a reasonable price for the quality of the food.
The restaurant has a beautiful and calm atmosphere. I went there for lunch and the meal came with a salad, fruit, and miso soup. All the sushi had fresh ingredients, especially the tuna and thick scallops were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It was absolutely the best!
I visited with a friend, two of us in total. We enjoyed a selection of drinks and the bill came to 70,000 yen. Both the chef and the proprietress were very friendly and made us feel at home. The food was delicious. We also had the pleasure of taking home some mackerel sushi as a souvenir, which was equally enjoyable. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance.
