I bought the Sunflower and Water Balloon cakes. They are both adorable in name and appearance, but the taste is also delicious, making me completely satisfied. The Water Balloon cake is a combination of white chocolate mousse and meringue, offering a delightful contrast in texture. The meringue is coated with white chocolate, which was also delicious. The Sunflower cake is a refreshing tart with a lemon flavor throughout. I heard that the cakes change seasonally, so I want to go back in the fall!
I bought a cake today from HIBIKA, located on the B1 floor of Takashimaya Nihonbashi! The prices have gone up a bit again, but it's still delicious. It's so good that I can't help but buy it (laughs). It also looks great and is perfect for a gift!
Summer cookies are mango, almond, and citron. The delicate melt-in-your-mouth texture that crumbles softly is irresistible (∩´∀`∩). I enjoyed the taste that melts away in my mouth while making a wish (⑉• •⑉)♡. They offer seasonal sweets that cherish the colors and flavors unique to each season, allowing you to enjoy the four seasons of Japanese confectionery. ——Occasion—— Gift ——Meal Details—— Cookies that crumble softly in your mouth, with a delicate and smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture ♡ It is said to be a "cookie that brings happiness" because if you chant a spell three times, your wish will come true. ▶Seasonal Cookie Assortment ▫️Mango The sweetness of mango spreads gently♡♡ ▫️Almond The richness and flavor of almond are strongly felt, and it might be my favorite flavor ( ˶¯ 灬¯˵) ▫️Citron Refreshing and clean flavor that makes you feel summer ( *´꒳`*) ——Menu Details—— ◇Seasonal Cookie Assortment ▫️Mango ▫️Almond ▫️Citron ——Revisit—— ★★★☆☆ Seems like a good choice for a gift♡
All the cakes here are seasonal and made with carefully selected ingredients. They are visually stunning. I received this as a gift from a friend. The cake I tried was called "Me-dachi Me-dachi." It was a Uji matcha mousse with a Seto Inland Sea lemon jelly and Uji matcha ganache. The elegant aroma and bitterness of the matcha were complemented by the refreshing acidity of the lemon. The different flavors were layered, and the sweetness was subtle, making it a sophisticated cake. Honestly, I personally found the flavors too complex. I guess I prefer simpler cakes. Thank you for the treat.
Revisited on September 7, 2022. A repeat purchase after a long time. It seems that this HIBIKA only has stores in Hankyu Umeda Main Store and Nihonbashi Takashimaya. Seasonal sweets are made into cakes and baked goods, and they are visually appealing and delicious. The cakes are very cute, and those inspired by seasonal fruits and the changing seasons are sold every season. Apples and cherries are really cute and well-made. Hydrangeas and camellias are beautiful. This time, I purchased the autumn products "Autumn Tree Fruits" and "Autumn Harvest Festival." The names are lovely, too. "Autumn Tree Fruits" is full of nuts and chocolate. Even the small chocolate pieces are delicious down to the details. The different textures and flavors of the chocolate are truly impressive. "Autumn Harvest Festival" is loaded with juicy fruits and topped with a blackcurrant mousse, making it a luxurious treat. It also has a white chocolate mousse inside. The base is a chocolate almond sponge cake. It would be delicious with wine or champagne, even if you don't drink alcohol. I've had this one before and it's a favorite. It's sure to be a welcome gift for special occasions or as a present. The customer service is attentive and the packaging is meticulous, giving you peace of mind.
