Cakes have become quite expensive lately, but this place offers a huge amount for the price. The Mont Blanc for ¥680 was enormous. It seemed like they were trying to bulk it up, as there was only a small amount of sponge cake. Inside, there was a large amount of custard that had no flavor, a lightly sweet whipped cream, and some fairly large chestnuts. The Mont Blanc part was quite rich, so maybe they made it that way to reduce the richness with that amount. But the flavorless cream meant that you always had to eat it with the Mont Blanc part, so there was no variation in flavor. It was just a lot of food, which made it a bit underwhelming. The price was good, but the taste was a bit disappointing. It might be good if you want a really large amount of food.

I bought the almond tofu that Kame-chan, who loves his wife, brought to the set. The syrup is a fruity, refreshing, and clean-tasting type. It's delicious! I've used it for gifts, and their cakes and baked goods are also delicious!

Takashimaya Nihonbashi's cake shop The taste was good, but it was pretty average. The cakes in the photo were 630 yen and 700 yen. The price was also pretty average. So, I'm not sure if I'd go back for more. 😘

I bought a 5-inch strawberry shortcake for our 2nd wedding anniversary on the 4th. I've been coming here to buy their delicious cakes from time to time! However, when I visited, there were no other customers, just a staff member attending to customers and another staff member restocking shelves. I called out to the staff member attending to customers because I wanted to order, but they didn't respond. The staff member restocking shelves noticed me, but the staff member attending to customers seemed to have heard me but was busy with something else and didn't respond. After that, I was served in a rather perfunctory manner, which surprised me a little. I took a picture of their back. The cakes are delicious, so it's a shame that the service doesn't reflect the love and care that goes into making them.
