Located on the second floor of the Takashimaya Nihonbashi Main Building, this cafe restaurant offers a taste of the renowned L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon at a reasonable price. They have courses starting from ¥2,000, with prices varying depending on your choices. Even the ¥2,000 lunch is quite satisfying. The main course offers a choice of meat, fish, or galette. The galette is authentic and quite filling. The appetizer soup is consistently delicious (gazpacho in the summer). The desserts are also excellent. The cafe is popular for its single-item offerings, including sandwiches, desserts, and cakes. The interior is a bit dim, but the walls are adorned with Swarovski crystals, making it a hit with women. There are counter seats for two, allowing for a more intimate dining experience. You can also purchase bread, pastries, and cakes. As it's located within Takashimaya, it gets quite crowded during lunch and on weekends, so reservations are recommended. Considering the quality, the price is very reasonable. Personally, I highly recommend the crème brûlée for dessert.

The interior is very modern, with red and black lighting that's a bit dim. It's narrow, but the use of glass and mirrors prevents it from feeling cramped. You can see the kitchen through a large window, and it looks busy. Since it's a cafe, you can just have drinks and dessert, but they also offer light meals like basic galettes and elaborate sandwiches. I didn't set my expectations high just because it's a Lobscion, but the quality is naturally high and consistent. Their well-known cakes are delicious, as expected. I wanted to try the 'assiette dessert,' and this mille-feuille was unlike anything I've ever had before. I think it's great. I stayed for a long time, but I'm not sure I like the atmosphere. It feels like a 'cafe' in the Japanese sense... I guess I prefer something more classic and open.

A popular cafe where you can enjoy the flavors of Le Ruban Bleu in a casual setting. It's a glamorous space with a red and black color scheme, perfect for a sophisticated tea time. The cafe is a favorite among the ladies of Takashimaya. Joel Robuchon's culinary philosophy is evident in the menu, which offers a wide range of options, from cafe staples like galettes and sandwiches to full-course meals. ——Details—— Day of the week: Weekday Time of day: Cafe ——Reservation—— Reservation: Not required Wait time: Approximately 10 minutes ——Occasion—— With friends (2 people) ——Food—— ▶Joel Robuchon's Mille-feuille The pastry was incredibly light and flaky. The sweetness of the mascarpone cream was balanced by the tart and refreshing flavor of the raspberries. It was airy and melted in your mouth. The vanilla ice cream added a nice touch of sweetness. It was delicious, but if you're expecting a traditional mille-feuille, it might be a bit different. ——Menu—— ◇Popular Dessert Set ¥1,800 ▫️Joel Robuchon's Mille-feuille ▫️Hot Coffee ——Service—— The staff was casual and easy to talk to. ——Ambiance—— Glamorous. The store design by Kyoko Morita features a luxurious space adorned with 110,000 Swarovski crystals. The red and black color scheme is characteristic of Le Ruban Bleu. ——Would I go back?—— ★★☆☆☆ Maybe if I have the chance.

I visited for lunch. As it's a cafe, it has a casual atmosphere, but the food is definitely upscale cafe fare. It's French, though, so the dishes are elaborate and visually stunning! I consulted with the staff and changed my reservation from Menu A to Menu B plus a cake. It was the perfect choice! The cake was truly eye-opening in its deliciousness, I was blown away! I'm deeply grateful to the staff for recommending this experience. Even though it's located in a department store, the red and black interior with sparkling crystal creates a completely different atmosphere the moment you step inside. I went on a weekday, but the place was packed with ladies and gentlemen. Their stylish attire was a real-life fashion show, much more inspiring than any magazine. (In other words, this is a place where you should dress up a bit, even for lunch.) The cakes are available for takeout, so I'll definitely be back. They're works of art, both in taste and appearance! By the way, the canelé I took out was also incredibly delicious, so I'll definitely be getting that again!

While it's a Robichon, it's a cafe style, so it's casual and affordable. I had the lunch course, but the extra meat for the main dish was sold out after 1 pm. The interior design is lovely. I wish I had brought a jacket because I was sitting directly under the air conditioner.
