The black beer with its unique frozen foam texture is simply irresistible! The interior boasts a beautiful space design and atmosphere, but it's also welcoming for solo visitors, which is why I keep coming back.
The beer in the photo was exceptional, both in appearance and taste. It was fruity and very easy to drink. The glass design was stylish and perfect for Instagram. The staff were also friendly and taught me a lot about beer. The atmosphere inside was relaxing and a great place to enjoy alone or with friends. If you're a craft beer lover, this is a must-visit spot!
I was about to leave Kabutocho when I stumbled upon a fun, pop-up shop. They seemed to have a selection of unusual craft beers, and the oden looked tempting, but I was already full. I asked for takeout, please. They had some beers nearing their expiration date at a discounted price, and a friendly, quirky staff member (like a character from a Kudo Kankuro film) happily retrieved them from the back. The beer was a total package buy. It was a rich, sweet beer. If there were a dessert beer, this would be it. The space is creative, but not pretentious. It has a slightly relaxed vibe that would likely appeal to many. It would be a great place to stop in for a quick drink. I want to go back and try the oden before it's gone.
It's amazing how this old Japanese house has been transformed into such a vibrant space. I finally made it to Omnipollo Tokyo in Tokyo, a place I'd been wanting to visit for a while. But I was short on time and only managed to have a quick beer. It's located in a back alley in Nihonbashi Kabutocho. Next door is a cafe and a natural wine bar called HUMANNATURE, which also has a standing bar. Omnipollo Tokyo is the first Asian outpost of Omnipollo, a brewery founded in Stockholm, Sweden. There's a neon sign above the entrance and a smile mark on the noren (traditional Japanese curtain). It has a pop and stylish feel. Omnipollo beers are known for their flavors inspired by food. Peanut butter cookies, mango lassi - I wonder what those would taste like. I ordered a recommended beer, which was refreshing and delicious. They also had oden (Japanese hot pot) and other dishes, and the combination of the strange atmosphere of the place and the food created a fun, pop-like, chaotic vibe. It was a really enjoyable place. I want to go back and have a proper drink next time.
I had been wanting to visit this hidden craft beer spot for a long time, as a close friend of mine works there. Located in the Kayabacho area, it's a unique blend of old and new, with a pop design interior that retains the charm of a traditional eel restaurant. I heard it was designed by a world-renowned artist, and it's definitely worth a visit just to see the space. The No. 1 Perikles was surprisingly fresh and very easy to drink. I definitely had to order another one! (I ended up ordering it again at the end of the day.) The No. 4 Grandin, which was recommended based on my preferences, was extremely tasty! The No. 10 (I think it was) was like tasting a dessert. It's a unique beer with a soft-serve ice cream topping, which was fun to taste both beer and sweets at the same time. They also have sour and bitter beers with a strong pop flavor. I was a little hungry, so a female staff member recommended oden, but I'm sorry to say, as an Osaka native, I'm not a fan of Tokyo-style oden. From a marketing perspective, I wondered why they recommended Kanto-daki (oden) when I was enjoying a Scandinavian beer, a high-quality beer in a stylish place. To be honest, sake goes better with oden. But! The sausages were surprisingly good and I was very satisfied. The fries looked good, but the portion was too big, so I'll try them with friends next time. I felt like I was underwater, surrounded by blue. The deep house music made me feel relaxed and happy with the delicious beer. There were fewer customers that day, so I stayed until closing time. A guy said, "Four of my friends are coming later," and ordered four large mugs of beer just before last call. We chatted for a bit, and then his friends rushed in. They didn't seem to be leaving after closing time, so the staff replaced their mugs with takeout cups and let them enjoy their beers. That was very nice. I'll definitely come back again with a group of foodie friends!
