I stopped by here on a weekday afternoon around 5:15 PM because I had some time to kill while waiting for the train. The tuna sashimi appetizer was delicious. I ordered a sashimi platter and a grilled skewer set, but I forgot to take a picture.

It's located on the 3rd floor, on the way to transferring from the JR line to the Hibiya line. It's a casual izakaya (Japanese pub) where you can relax. It's not particularly cheap, but it's a good place to change your mood for a bit.

This is a great place to go even when it's raining, as you won't get wet. They have a wide variety of sake, which I really enjoyed.

This restaurant specializes in the food and culture of Tohoku. They offer a Japanese lunch set for around 1100 to 2500 yen.

I frequently visit this restaurant because I go to the JEXER fitness gym located at Ueno Station. It's conveniently located inside the station, right outside the Iriya ticket gate of Ueno Station. It's very convenient because you can get to the train without getting wet even if it's raining, and you can even have a drink until the very last minute before your train leaves. The menu is extensive and offers many delicious dishes, making it a high-quality restaurant in my opinion. The atmosphere is also great, and although there are no private rooms, there are tatami seating areas, making it suitable for families. The wide selection of alcoholic beverages is also a plus.
