I visited around 1:30 PM on a Saturday. I ordered the potato pancake. It came with a separate salad and the dressing was delicious, just the way I like it. The pancake was a potato feast, piled high with potato sauce, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, and potato chips. The salty bacon was a perfect complement. The pancake was fluffy and bouncy, and even though my digestion has been declining lately, I devoured it. Potatoes and pancakes really do go together! My companion had the banana pancake. It came with banana chips, and the side dish was a kind of almond tofu? with banana and ice cream, making it very filling. We were lucky to get a window seat and enjoyed a relaxing time. After 2:30 PM, the place started to fill up and there was a waiting line, so we left. Next time, I want to try the plain pancake.
I had the pumpkin pancakes. The batter was fluffy, and the pumpkin cream had a natural sweetness, making it incredibly delicious. The atmosphere of the shop was also great. It was in Ginza, but it didn't feel like Ginza, and it was a very comfortable place to be.
Since the popular Nezu 'Okotega' was predictably packed, I decided to head to Ginza. It was just before lunchtime, so I braced myself for a wait and went to this place. The sign at the building entrance was inconspicuous, so I walked right past it. I climbed the stairs to the third floor, the second door on the right, and was surprised to be seated immediately. What a relief! I ordered the premium pancakes and iced coffee. The pancakes took about 20 minutes, but they brought the coffee and a side dish beforehand, which was nice. The pancakes were fluffy, and the fresh cream on top melted quickly from the heat. The accompanying sugar cane sugar was less cloying than maple syrup and had a refreshing sweetness that was delicious. The clientele was mostly women and couples, but it had a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel comfortable as a solo guy. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance.
This was a fantastic pancake restaurant. I was surprised to find sparkling wine at a pancake place, perhaps due to its location. It's a perfect spot for an after-dinner treat in Ginza. The prices are very reasonable considering it's an after-dinner establishment. The pancakes were served in two tiers, making for a generous portion. Other female customers were sharing them. Unusually for a pancake restaurant, they also had options like Bolognese, which could be enjoyed for lunch. The cutlery was unique, and the owner told me they were personally sourced. On September 9th, they had a limited-time Mont Blanc-style pancake. It's on the 3rd floor, so you need to take the elevator. However, the entrance on the 1st floor isn't wheelchair accessible, so it would be difficult for someone to use it alone (assistance would be needed). Thank you for the delicious meal.
We stumbled upon this place after lunch. Luckily, we were seated and ordered the Premium and Marron pancakes. Depending on the timing, it might take around 20 minutes for them to be ready, so be mindful if you're short on time. The pancakes are fluffy and delicious. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, perfect for a leisurely visit.
