My favorite restaurant! I've been going for about 3 years. The sushi is simply the best, no need to comment further. The chef's professionalism and the staff's service are also excellent. You can even enjoy the maki rolls and tamago you order after the course. They clean the restrooms every time someone goes, so even if you think the previous person has left, you can't go in right away! 😂
I visited for lunch. After just one piece, I knew I wouldn't be coming back. Here are three reasons why: 1. It wasn't my taste. The rice was soft, almost sticky, and it felt like I was eating a rice ball rather than sushi. Maybe it's good for people who want to enjoy the cohesive flavors in their mouth. 2. The first piece of white fish had a bone or scale in it. I've never experienced that at this price point, so I was surprised at the 30,000 yen price tag. It's not a big deal, but it's something they should be aware of. 3. The service was too attentive, and I felt like I was being watched. The chef didn't ask about the size of the rice. If you have any requests, you'll need to tell him. I heard it was a Sukibayashi-style restaurant and expected a tangy rice, but it was mild. My expectations were too high, and I was disappointed. One more thing: The clam broth miso soup had a bitter, muddy, or even smelly taste.
The restaurant has a certain tension in the air, which is strangely comforting. The bonito was delicious! I was surprised to find that the sashimi and nigiri tasted completely different. ^_^
I've had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant several times. The private rooms are great for enjoying the food and atmosphere with your group without worrying about others. As expected from a restaurant with chefs trained at renowned establishments, the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. It's one of my favorite places. I definitely plan to go back.
This restaurant is notoriously difficult to book, but I was lucky enough to snag a reservation and had lunch at 12:30 pm. The counter has six seats, but on the day I went, there were seven. It's located just a short walk from Omotesando Station, down a small alleyway. The restaurant is right when you get off the elevator. The sushi was, of course, delicious. The vinegared rice was tangy and refreshing. The nigiri was beautifully presented, like a work of art. They also served hand rolls, which were incredibly tasty. For days after, I kept thinking about those hand rolls and wanting to eat them again. But what truly impressed me was the artistry of the sushi chef's movements. It was beautiful, masterful, and even moving. The course ended with strawberries, which were delicious!
