I visited this bakery located on the 4th floor of Mark City, adjacent to Shibuya Station, before heading back home from Shibuya. The shop has a bright interior and a wide variety of breads. I purchased a half-size loaf of shokupan (Japanese milk bread) for ¥259 and a melon pan for ¥259, and enjoyed them at home. ◾️ About the purchased bread The melon pan was slightly smaller in size, but the cookie dough covered the entire top and bottom of the product, giving the impression of meticulous craftsmanship. Upon tasting, the cookie dough had a moderate sweetness, likely due to the use of a fair amount of sugar. However, I sensed a hint of saltiness, as if the cookie dough was baked with salted butter. While it didn't have a particularly crunchy texture, the cookie dough had a rich, buttery flavor. The inside was made with shokupan dough, which was incredibly fluffy and chewy, with a strong wheat flavor. It was truly delicious. The shokupan bread was made with the same dough as the melon pan, but when toasted, the sweetness of the wheat and the fluffy, chewy texture were even more pronounced. It was so delicious that I felt it could be enjoyed simply toasted without any additional toppings. While it requires a trip to the 4th floor of Mark City, the bakery offers good value for money and has an eat-in space, making it a convenient option. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I went to Jean-François at Shibuya Mark City! The tea time set is ¥580 and is available from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It includes one sweet bread of your choice (raisin butter sand, cinnamon roll, or low-carb muffin) and a drink (coffee or tea). I went there because I had a little bit of time to spare. I got the raisin butter sand and coffee. The raisin butter sand is highly recommended at this store. The bread of the raisin butter sand was hard, hard, hard! It was so hard that it wouldn't tear. 🥲 Maybe it was because it was raining that day? Could it have been a humidity issue? 🤔 But the inside was fluffy. ❤️ The butter wasn't too heavy and it was delicious 😋 However, there were many foreign tourists and the staff seemed very busy. They were even giving directions. Half of the people in the eat-in area were foreign tourists. The Shibuya store exclusive items are: - Caramelized Onion Pie ¥390 - Egg Sandwich ¥360 - Sprouted Brown Rice Pain de Mie ¥480 - Croissant Roll Pistachio ¥390 - Croissant Roll Strawberry ¥390 - Croissant Roll Chocolate ¥390 Wow, there are so many Shibuya exclusive items. They also have a point card where you get one stamp for every ¥500 spent, and double stamps on Mondays and Tuesdays! ‼️ You get ¥400 off for 10 stamps and ¥1000 off for 20 stamps. That's great! ❣️ People who go there for breakfast, lunch, or tea time will probably accumulate points quickly. You can even have wine or alcohol in the evening! ❣️ However, there are only a few seats and they are close together, and the store is small, so you might not be able to eat leisurely. The atmosphere is not great because of this. It's good for a quick break. The kouign amann was already sold out here! 😭 I wanted to try it!

Today, I visited "Jean-François," located just a 3-minute walk from Shibuya Station! Our meeting was 30 minutes late, so I was looking for a place to cool off. I found this store in Mark City. The atmosphere inside was calm and relaxing, and I enjoyed my time there. I bought two different kinds of bread, and they were delicious. I'll be coming to Shibuya occasionally in the future, so I hope to visit again!

On the 4th floor of Shibuya Mark City, you can enjoy delicious bread using the shareholder benefits of Create Restaurants. Try various breads for eat-in or takeout. My favorites are the melon bread and Ehime mandarin orange juice.

This pandoro is absolutely delicious! I stocked up on bread for tomorrow's breakfast since it's a three-day weekend. This place is always bustling with customers. They also have an eat-in area. I visited around 6 PM to buy bread for tomorrow. I got pandoro, croissant Francois, kouign amann, and baguette chocolat. When I got home and ate the baguette chocolat, it was burnt. What a bummer!😢 The chocolate🍫 has a strong cocoa flavor. Everything else was really good though.🥹
