Located in a bustling area facing Omotesando, you'll find yourself climbing a steep staircase and lining up in separate queues for eat-in and takeout. While tempting and expensive parfaits are on display, my recommendation is the fruit sandwich. It's available for takeout, and there's also a lunch menu where you can choose a main dish and a sandwich.

I went for an early lunch. They have a style where you can choose between a sandwich and a main dish (like curry or Doria). This time, I chose Doria and a fruit sandwich with sour cream. I don't like whipped cream, so I opted for sour cream, which tasted like yogurt. It cost around 1,800 yen. I had plans afterwards, so I skipped the drink. Even if I had lunch in the neighborhood, it would have cost about the same. It was relatively empty, and I had never had a light meal at a Sennichiya before, so I chose this place. As expected, the interior was clean, well-lit, and not very crowded since it was early. I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. I want to go back and try their cakes and tea next time.

I ordered the "プリンアラモード" (pudding a la mode)! This was my first time visiting this store, but I was able to get in relatively smoothly and only waited in line for about 15 minutes. As always, it was delicious! Also, I shared a curry with my friend, and the shrimp and avocado curry was tasty but a bit spicy. It might be too spicy for children, but it was delicious. Just for your reference.

I tried the adult parfait at night, and frankly, it wasn't good. The blue cheese ice cream, which was supposed to be an accent, was too strong for me. The pear and cassis weren't a particularly good match either, and while the chocolate and orange were good, the overall flavor was too busy and lacked any sense of unity. It was a disappointing parfait, lacking in finesse. Lately, this cafe has been serving delicious food, so I was expecting a more delicious parfait or a fruit sandwich that would leave me feeling impressed. But even the strawberry sandwich at Sembikiya was just average, which was disappointing. In the past, when delicious fruit wasn't readily available, Sembikiya felt special. But now, it would be great if they offered more natural, organic fruits, not just GMO or seedless varieties.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Harajuku Station, heading towards Omotesando on Meiji-dori, this place caught my eye. I decided to stop by for lunch because I was craving fruit. It was a little past 1 p.m. on a weekend when I arrived, and there were about four groups waiting in line. Luckily, I was able to get inside after about 5 minutes. The restaurant was filled with female customers. I ordered the Holiday Lunch combo set for 1,760 yen. You can choose a main dish and a fruit sandwich. ● Shrimp and Crab White Sauce Doria ● Seasonal Fruit Sandwich with Fresh Cream Today's selection was grapes and kiwi. The fruit sandwich was delicious! They also had a sour cream sandwich option. ● Seasonal Fruit Juice and Cut Fruit - 880 yen I added some extra fruit after my meal. The cantaloupe was the best. Today's fruit juice was banana juice. It was a refreshing banana milk juice, and I really enjoyed it.
