Hello! I'm Harapecchan, always hungry! ————Store Details———————————— Store Name: PEAK S PEAK CAFE Nearest Station: 1-minute walk from Nihonbashi Station Address: 〒103-0027 2-5-1 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Takashimaya Mitsui Building 1F Business Hours: Monday-Friday: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Closed: None Budget: Up to ¥1000 ———————————————————— This time, I visited PEAK S PEAK CAFE, a cafe opened in September 2018 in Nihonbashi, just a 1-minute walk from Nihonbashi Station! It's operated by Yamamotoyama, a company specializing in seaweed and tea. The cafe is newly established in the office entrance of the Nihonbashi Takashimaya Mitsui Building. Nihonbashi Takashimaya Mitsui Building considers its office not just a place to work, but a place to achieve a fulfilling business life. They propose creating a more enriched office environment. As part of this initiative, they designed a cafe that is loved by office workers and open to the community, which is how PEAK S PEAK CAFE came to be. The concept is to experience the "peak" of flavors in each season, like coffee and tea, and to create a space where you can always be at your peak. In Nihonbashi, a business district, you can enjoy "the right time to drink" and "the right time to eat" before and during work, making it a place where you can have a fulfilling time while working. Menu I ordered this time: 【Matcha Pudding】 The moment I inserted the spoon, I was convinced it was a pudding that would melt in my mouth. As soon as I took a bite, it melted in my mouth and disappeared so quickly. The rich matcha flavor spread throughout my mouth, it was exquisite! 【Mont Blanc】 It was topped with a generous amount of rich Mont Blanc cream, and inside there was a little sponge cake and fresh cream! It was absolutely delicious! 【Blueberry Cheese】 The tart cheese cake was topped with a generous amount of berry sauce, and when eaten together, they were a perfect match! The interior has a very high ceiling, creating an open and stylish space, like a luxurious lounge in a trendy hotel. It has a calm atmosphere. There are 6 two-seater tables, and 6-7 more two-seater tables in the back. The glass-walled counter seats facing the main street are equipped with power outlets, making them perfect for working. It was a place where I could relax and take a break while enjoying the view of Nihonbashi. Harapecchan is full again this time! Thank you for the meal.
I stopped by for a quick break. They have a wide selection of matcha drinks in addition to the usual coffee options. The matcha lassi on the right in the photo wasn't my cup of tea. Also, this shop doesn't accept cash payments.
A cafe located on the first floor of Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. that is open from early morning. The operating hours are great for those who have meetings or business trips. It has a quiet and calm atmosphere, as you would expect from Nihonbashi. I visited around 9 am on a weekday, and there were only about three other groups in the store. It's not extremely large, but there are a decent number of seats. I ordered a medium-sized iced cafe latte. It was slightly smaller than a tall at Starbucks. It seems like you pay and pick up your drink at the same place. They also accept IC cards like Suica.
Located on the corner of Takashimaya in Nihonbashi, I think it's run by Yamamotoyama? The ceiling is high and it has an open feel. However, it wasn't as spacious as I expected. The variety of drinks was great, and the pancakes were delicious. It's more of a place for solo use, kind of like a Starbucks, wouldn't you say? If you're going, it's best for two people at most. The staff are friendly, so I'd definitely like to go back.
They offer a pancake breakfast. I often order the tuna mayo, and the slightly sweet pancakes go perfectly with the generous amount of tuna mayo. It's also very filling. Starting April 2024, they will be completely cashless. *Cash is not accepted*.
