I got a cream donut to go! The custard flavor is so mild and delicious! The dough is also soft, like a donut you can drink. It's a friendly neighborhood bakery located on the main street in Morishita. It has a warm, familiar atmosphere that made me feel like I was back home.

I stopped by looking for a birthday cake, but they said whole cakes require reservations. However, I was surprised by the volume of their seasonal peach cake. It had more than half a peach on top, and it was a great value. The onion tart with red pepper was also a unique dish you can only find here. They also sell bread, baked goods, and jams, making it exciting to choose from. The airy interior has a retro atmosphere. There are many things that feel like they're from a bygone era, like the shelves and lighting, and it's very charming. The grandmotherly staff member was also warm and welcoming, which made me happy.

Morishita Charmant is a lively bakery and cake shop that's open even on holidays. Their bakery also has delicious sandwiches! Today, I couldn't resist buying an extra marron pie. The cashier is an elderly lady! She's always bright and cheerful, which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I'm happy that their bread is soft and delicious! Since nearby bakeries were closed, Charmant was busier than usual. Thank you for the delicious food!

It's not a matter of choosing one over the other, as both the bread and cakes are simply delicious! I've been a regular customer, enjoying their hotel bread and baguettes for my daily breakfast, and their cakes for special occasions. ◎Hotel Bread (¥540) Soft and fluffy with a hint of sweetness. Toasting it thick and lightly creates a perfect crispy-soft texture. It's only available on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. ◎Shortcake The moist sponge cake paired with the not-too-sweet cream is truly delicious! The beautiful presentation complements the delicate flavors. The seasonal fruit changes with the seasons, adding a lovely touch. Peaches in early summer, grapes in autumn, and strawberries in winter. This retro, cozy bakery offers delicious breads and cakes made with care. I hope it continues to thrive for many years to come.

The bread was chewy and moist. It was a very satisfying bread. Thank you for the delicious meal ✨
