This casual French restaurant offers a fantastic value for money and evokes a vacation vibe, like a resort in the south of France. The poolside cafe, with its exotic atmosphere, feels worlds away from Shibuya. Enjoy elegant French cuisine while feeling the refreshing breeze. The galette set is a steal at ¥1500, featuring a delicious galette with a fragrant buckwheat aroma and chewy texture. The breathtaking terrace with its leisurely pace is simply divine. ~What I had~ Galette Set ¥1500 (Galette/Salad/Soup/Drink)
I recently visited 347 Cafe & Lounge, located near Shibuya Station. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station, and you'll find Miyashita Park nearby. The cafe was bustling with activity, and it seemed like reservations were essential. There's a pool in the center, creating a stylish atmosphere. We started with a beer toast, followed by a salad and some light dishes. Everything was delicious! This cafe allows pets on the terrace, so I brought my dog along. He was so happy, and it made me feel incredibly joyful. Thank you for the wonderful meal! If you're ever in Shibuya, be sure to check out 347 Cafe & Lounge. Thank you!
I made a reservation for lunch at 12 pm on a Saturday, during Golden Week. I went for the Chef's Special ¥2,800 course, which has a 90-minute time limit. From Shibuya Station, it's just a few seconds' walk from the subway B1 exit. It's on the 3rd floor of the building, right across the crosswalk from the exit. Miyashita Park is right next door, across the street to the left, so it's a very convenient location for having tea after lunch! When you go up the building's escalator, the restaurant entrance is right in front of you. I had reserved a terrace seat because I was drawn to the pool, but it seems like everyone was being seated at the terrace seats closer to the inside (with a roof) because it had rained a little that morning. I was a little disappointed, but I guess it's reassuring to know that you'll be okay if you reserve a terrace seat on a rainy day. The terrace seats aren't on the rooftop, and since there's a pool, it's not exactly spacious, but just seeing the pool makes it feel cool somehow, and the terrace seats were definitely comfortable and satisfying.^^ For the food, you can choose between meat or fish for the main course, and your choice of coffee or tea for after-dinner drinks. There were also three kinds of appetizers, bread, and dessert. I forgot to mention it when I made the reservation, so I asked if they could accommodate my pregnancy, just in case, and they said, "No problem!" They replaced the meat in the appetizer with a cauliflower marinade, a cracker dish (I can't remember the name), and they changed my after-dinner drink to herbal tea. The main course that day was pork shoulder with chimichurri sauce for the meat, and roasted red snapper (I'm not sure about the exact name). I chose the fish, and the skin was perfectly crispy, and it went really well with the creamy sauce. It was delicious!^^ The bread was half a loaf of thick bread! It was piping hot, but it wasn't the kind of crispy texture you get from toast, it was fluffy and kind of strange! Dessert was banana chocolate pound cake. It was also very fluffy! It was a little on the sweet side, but that's what made it so delicious and satisfying. The brother who accommodated my food change was very kind and considerate, and I was truly grateful! The other staff members were also very attentive, like refilling water and clearing plates at the right time. Thanks to them, I was able to have a pleasant and enjoyable time. I saw a lot of people ordering galettes, so I want to try that next time! Thank you for the delicious meal!^^
The terrace seating offered a relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful pool nearby, where I could enjoy the cool night air of the city. The only downside was that there was no call bell, so a single server was responsible for the entire terrace. Unfortunately, they often looked down or away, making it difficult to get their attention. It took a while to place additional orders each time. However, the French cuisine and drinks were delicious, and overall, I would definitely visit again. *Note: Galettes are only available for lunch. I went specifically for the galettes, but they were not on the menu for dinner.
I visited this place for lunch for the first time in mid-May, on a beautiful sunny day. It's located across Meiji-dori from Miyashita Park. The terrace has a pool, which you wouldn't expect from the outside of the building, and the atmosphere was nice. They had about five different galette options, so I ordered the one with cheese, mushrooms, and arugula. It wasn't piping hot, but it was decent. I'd like to try dinner there next time.
