A specialty hand-wrapped gyoza shop inside Tokyo Station, created by a Michelin-starred chef! The marriage of gyoza and beer will make your happiness skyrocket!!! 🔥 🍀Happiness Points🍀 🟢 A new venture by the owner of NIHONBASHI BREWERY! The chewy gyoza are wrapped in a unique blend of freshly stretched dough, filled with Spanish Iberico pork belly and domestic shoulder loin! The umami is packed in and irresistible! 🟢 Craft beer also goes perfectly with gyoza! The oolong tea-based oolong ale is a beer that blends the individuality of malt, hops, and tea leaves, making it a great match for gyoza! The potato salad and pickled mustard greens are also excellent! 🟢 For a finishing touch, the mazesoba is recommended! The umami of the blend of several spices and the sourness of Chinese black vinegar are a perfect match! Egg is a must-have topping! 🟢 Located inside the ticket gate of Tokyo Station, perfect for waiting for the Shinkansen! Cashless payment makes it easy! Located in Tokyo Station, "Tokyo Gyoza Stand Uron" is a Michelin chef-designed, handmade gyoza specialty store within the station. It has 20 counter seats. I ordered Coca-Cola (¥539), Melty Potato Salad (¥550), Drool Duck (¥858), Grilled Gyoza (¥550), Perilla Water Gyoza (¥605), Rice (¥165), and Homemade Wonton Chinese Noodles (¥1250). The Melty Potato Salad features a soft-boiled egg on top of mashed potatoes, creating a visually appealing dish that melts in your mouth. The Drool Duck, cooked sous vide, is tender and moist. The finely chopped scallion sauce adds a spicy kick that perfectly complements the duck. The Grilled Gyoza has crispy, feathered edges and is bursting with juicy broth. Each bite is a flavor explosion. While delicious on its own, you can also add soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, and Sichuan pepper from the table to customize the flavor. The Perilla Water Gyoza is refreshing with its abundance of perilla leaves. The homemade pickled ginger adds a nice touch, making it a light and enjoyable dish. The Homemade Wonton Chinese Noodles features a rich, soy-based broth and thick, whole wheat noodles. The smooth wontons are filled with coarsely ground meat, adding a hearty texture. Overall, the dish is quite filling. Today, I went to "Tokyo Gyoza Stand Uron," located on the B1 floor of Gransta, directly connected to Tokyo Station 🥟. This is a popular spot where you can enjoy hand-wrapped gyoza created by a Michelin chef and a selection of craft beers! 〜・〜・〜・〜・〜・〜・〜・〜・〜・〜 What I ordered this time: ☑️ Grilled Gyoza ¥550 ☑️ Perilla Water Gyoza ¥605 ☑️ Melty Potato Salad ¥550 ☑️ Drool-Worthy Duck ¥858 ☑️ Sea Urchin Squid Shu Mai ¥650 ☑️ Beef Steamed Rice ¥1210 ※Prices include tax. Being directly connected to Tokyo Station, it's always packed with tourists and foreigners during peak hours, both lunch and dinner 🈵. However, there's a reason for the wait! First and foremost, the gyoza is simply delicious 😋. Especially the classic 【Grilled Gyoza】, with its crispy exterior and chewy interior, is packed with juicy meat filling! The large, crispy edges are also impactful and amazing 🤩. In contrast, the 【Perilla Water Gyoza】 has a refreshing flavor with the aroma of perilla wafting through your nose ✨✨. The skin is also chewy! The other appetizer menu items are also truly impressive! The 【Melty Potato Salad】 has a surprising visual that I've never seen before, and it's incredibly delicious 🤤. The crispy bacon and nuts create a layered texture that really makes you want to drink 🍶. The 【Drool-Worthy Duck】 is also amazing, with tender duck and a delicious sauce 😋. The slightly spicy chopped green onions are a perfect match 👍. ※ I highly recommend eating these chopped green onions with the gyoza, it's absolutely delicious! The 【Beef Steamed Rice】 is a must-order for a satisfying finish! And the 【Sea Urchin Squid Shu Mai】, recommended by the restaurant, is also a must-try! Also, they have a wide variety of beers to pair with these dishes, making it a paradise for beer lovers 🍻. I think this place is perfect for any occasion, whether you're coming back from a trip, heading out on a trip, or having a date at Tokyo Station. A friend recommended a gyoza restaurant in Tokyo Station, so I went there with my work colleagues on a weekday evening around 8 pm. My friend had told me that there's always a line, and as expected, there was a queue. The last order is at 8:30 pm, so if we had arrived just a few minutes later, we wouldn't have been able to get in! Next time I go, I might try to arrive before 7:30 pm. We ordered a few things that looked interesting and shared them. I've marked my personal recommendations with a star ⭐. I hope this is helpful. *─────────────* ◆ What we ordered ⭐️▷Water gyoza 4 pieces 550 yen ▷Fried gyoza 4 pieces 550 yen ⭐️▷Coriander water gyoza 4 pieces 605 yen ⭐️▷Perilla water gyoza 4 pieces 605 yen ⭐️▷'Yodare' duck 858 yen ▷Raw pickled mustard greens 418 yen ◆ Drinks ▷Oolong tea 495 yen ⭐️▷Hop Havoc 910 yen ▷Cola 495 yen *─────────────* Memos on what stood out📝 *─────────────* First, we ordered all the gyoza dishes to satisfy our gyoza cravings! Since each plate has 4 pieces, we thought it would be enough to share between two people. But we also ordered beer, so it was actually just the right amount. The water gyoza was chewy and topped with olive oil. Water gyoza and olive oil actually go well together. It was a new discovery for me. We also ordered the 'Yodare' duck, a specialty of this restaurant. The meat was tender and delicious, cooked sous vide. And the winner of the day was the perilla water gyoza. It had a refreshing flavor that's perfect for this time of year. The pickled ginger on top is also homemade! It's great that you can easily grab a bite to eat at the station. Craft beer and gyoza are a winning combination. I'll definitely stop by again with friends or colleagues when I'm craving gyoza.
