Located in the Nihonbashi Takashimaya, directly connected to the station, it's easy to find even for someone unfamiliar with the area. The weekday-only lunch course is attractive because you can order drinks before and after the meal. Even on weekdays, it fills up quickly at lunchtime, so it's best to make a reservation.
I go here for lunch all the time because it's so stylish and delicious! You have to get there early or you'll miss out because it gets packed. Lunch is around ¥1300 and includes a salad, pre- and post-meal drinks, and a main dish. I personally love that you get to choose two drinks. This time I ordered the green curry. The spice level was for advanced eaters, which was a bit much for me, but the rice was absolutely delicious! It was Thai rice (I think) and I rarely find Thai rice this good. The salad dressing was also unique and incredibly tasty. The interior is stylish and they have private rooms. I imagine it would have a really nice atmosphere at night.
A spacious restaurant with great convenience. It's close to my workplace, so I often go there for lunch. Lately, it's become so popular that I often can't get in even if I arrive before noon. I appreciate that the lunch sets come with two drinks, one before and one after the meal. The green curry is surprisingly spicy! It's delicious though. Personally, I prefer the Hainanese chicken rice.
I had lunch at this restaurant. It's located on the 7th floor of the Takashimaya Shin-kan building, directly connected to the Nihombashi Station on the subway. I was very satisfied with the convenient location, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the food, the content, and the price! For lunch, you can choose a plan with a main course, appetizer, and drink (and the drink comes with two drinks, one before and one after the meal!). I chose Vietnamese pho, and my friend chose Hainanese chicken rice as our main courses. The fresh spring rolls and shrimp toast that come with every plan are also delicious. For sides, I ordered water dumplings, and my friend ordered Sichuan chicken. These were also delicious, just like the main courses! All of this for ¥2,180! I was surprised! I was satisfied with the food, but I was pleasantly surprised by the two drinks included with lunch, which allowed us to enjoy a leisurely chat. I went on a day when a typhoon was approaching, so it may have been a little less crowded, but we were able to relax. There was also a nice terrace seating area, which we couldn't use that day because of the rain. I want to go back again.
We went for a late lunch on Saturday. When we put our name down on the waiting list, we were told that we would have to wait about 15 minutes because they needed to clear the table after the previous customers left. I was a little annoyed by this, but I waited calmly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. We didn't use it this time, but the terrace seating looked very pleasant. The holiday lunch was great, with a variety of delicious appetizers. I was excited for the main course, which was a gapao rice. But it was... disappointing! The lack of spice was understandable, but the flavor was too strong. It was salty. It felt like they had added too much sauce and then reduced it down. I'm a big fan of gapao rice and always order it when I go to Asian restaurants, but this experience made me question my love for it... Maybe it was just a bad day for them. The atmosphere and appetizers were good, so it was a shame.
