I was looking for a place to take a break while visiting the airport and found this cafe. It's a bit pricey (sweat), but I was happy to find out they have an eat-in area. There are three tables and four counter seats. It seems they opened in February this year.
They are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. I didn't know they had a cafe, so I'll definitely use it next time. This time I bought caramel, pistachio, and chocolate. They are quite sweet, so black coffee might be a good pairing. Each is 375 yen (tax included). Gift boxes are a bit pricey, but you can get them in the pictured box if you buy 5 or more. For 4 or less, they come in a paper bag. ☕
Raspberry and Lychee Soft Serve Ice Cream. With Chocolate ¥900. While their classic macarons are excellent, their chocolate, cookies, and pound cake are also delicious!
It was located at Narita Airport. The limited-edition soft serve ice cream seemed to be a collaboration of fruits and flowers, and the one I had definitely had a strong rose aroma. They also had macarons, which would make good souvenirs.
Despite being a high-end brand store, I was truly astonished by the exceptional service. It was so good, it was almost shocking. I visited with my family, and because I wanted to try something specific, I ended up dragging them along. They only ordered a single macaron each, which was a pretty meager order to be honest, but the service was so attentive and impeccable that I felt guilty and ended up ordering more. It was a true testament to their hospitality. The store itself is small but elegant. The taste was quintessentially French, in the best way possible. The way they construct the flavors and aromas is truly remarkable. Personally, I think the subtle deviation from the traditional (which is how I, a Japanese person, perceive it) is the essence of high-end French cuisine. I could definitely feel that here. I've seen this brand pop up frequently at airports lately, and the name is now written in katakana. I was a little worried that they were pandering to popular trends, but I sincerely apologize for my doubts. This is an exceptional establishment.
